The man, Hazza, sat on the stool, his dimples set impeccably on his cheeks. I snapped several photographs in one click just as he finished his sentence. I changed the settings to black and white as the surprise swept through his features. It was my turn to smirk. Hazza didn't even have to do anything, really. I wasn't the type to give instruction when doing photography. My face quickly dropped its smirk as it settled into its concentration face, my tongue sticking out at times as I position myself around my model.
"Would you mind standing for me please, sir" I sounded almost childishly pleasant as I asked the simple request. I had taken several hundred photographs with different facial perspectives of my model and decided to change it around somewhat. "It's Harry", he smirked again, his eyes ablaze with the obvious love of my attention. Harry obediently stood and the shoot continued from there. All throughout, Mr.Malik kept his eyes onto mine, trailing impatiently each time I touched Harry's hand, indicating to him where to stand.
The shoot didn't take too long as Harry was quite photogenic and co operated with me. Plus, I cut it short towards the end. The look on Mr.Maliks face made me feel uncomfortable, as if I was hurting him with every press of the cameras button. "Thank you, Harry" I smiled at him I turned the camera off, walking around slightly too as my back felt strained from being in the same position. "No problem" Harry's smile was captivating, only holding long enough to hook me to his features before he began to turn away to leave the office.
"Harry" Mr.Malik called just as Harry was slipping through the door, "would you mind working with the other interviewee, Miss. Smith?" My cheeks warmed as I heard the request. I could just tell what our conversation later would be about...
"Why not?" Harry left the room, a small smile sat on Mr.Malik's face when the door shut. He looked dead into my eyes moving inch by inch closer to me. My heart rate increased as well as the depth of each breath, my pulse was racing and I couldn't get myself to calm down. 'He's just walking over, that's it' I tried to tell myself, rushes of adrenaline pumping as we came millimetres away from my face. My breaths were the same as his, there was hardly any difference between us.
The dream of a few nights was all that I could think about, everything else just faded away. "So, Miss Mathis," he paused, his warm breath drawn away from my face as he stepped back to observe me. I hope he had not noticed my momentarily closed eyes. "we're alone, your final task will be soon, but first" my mind concentrated completely on his opening statement. We are alone. Shudders of anticipation travelled in tingling sensations down my spine. First what?
I hoped so badly that I would understand what made him never reply that night, what was so important to drive us away from each other. All I could wish for was to kiss his tender looking lips, to feel his skin against mine but the same thought kept re emerging in my head, what happened that night? My thought was broken by his soft touch on my shoulder. Impulses were triggered everywhere. "Let's catch up, ask me anything and in return," his pauses were always so well thought out, so suggestive at times. "You tell me all I desire to know"
* I know the chapter was really short today, I'm sorry about that but blame writers block... :) Hopefully you enjoy it anyway! Love you all <3*
