I'm quickly jolted awake by Calum yelling my name.
"(Y/N) (Y/N) WAKE UP!"
"Wha... What is it? What's wrong?"
"C'mon Michael just left and we need to go find him!" He throws me my jacket.
"Wait, why did he leave?" I look around at the other boys and they're all staring at the floor. Ashton walks over to me.
"Michael's dad didn't make it..." Ashton said.
"But, but no, no this can't be happening." I say in denial.
"C'mon (y/n) we need to go find Michael." Calum says again.
I quickly follow Calum to the parking garage. We pass the spot where Michael had parked his car which is no longer there.
"Do you know any place he might have gone?" I ask as I climb into the passenger seat of Calum's car.
"Maybe he went back to his place. We should check there first. I just really hope he doesn't do anything to get himself hurt."
Calum's words make my mind go crazy. What if Michael gets hurt? What if he gets into trouble? What if he left somewhere really far and we don't find him? What if he never comes back?
We pull up to Michael's house and before the car has fully stopped, I jump out. The front door was left wide open and a few light were on. The house was completely trashed. Books were thrown all over, picture frames were cracked, furniture was flipped.
"MICHAEL!?! MICHAEL!!?" I call out.
As Calum continues searching the first floor I run upstairs. I've never been to Michael's house before so I'm not quite sure where his room is. I open every door but each one is empty.
"He's not up here!" I tell Calum.
"I don't think he's down here either."
I began to worry even more. Where could he be? Maybe he got into a car accident. Oh god please no, not a car accident.
We both run back to the car.
"The mess might have been left over from his dad." I tell Calum.
"Do you know of any place he might be?" Calum asks, his voice covered in panic.
"I don't know.... WAIT!!" The car jerks to a stop.
"WHAT? WHAT IS IT?" Calum asks.
"THE BOARDWALK!! That's were he is! He has to be there!"
Calum quickly speeds swerving around other cars. About 10 minutes later we arrive.
"We might have better luck if we split up." Calum says.
I can't help but notice the lit up zig zag lights above my head. They remind me of our first "date".
I have to find him.
