"Zelda! You made it?!" I was confused and relieved at the same time, my Zelda was here, she really was! She smiled mischievously and nodded "Of course I did, I love you remember?"
Immediately I pulled her close to me and covered her in kisses. I could see the boys staring at us making kiss faces and pouting. I couldn't care less, Zelda was here and my heart was no longer hurting. "I thought you weren't gonna come?" I said to Zelda as she sat down next to me.
"Well, I was in a hurry, I wasn't done packing and I made it just in time. I'm just glad I did make it. And apparently my name isn't Zelda" she tripped over the words, and I could tell she was hurting when she told me her name wasn't Zelda. Wait what? Zelda wasn't her real name?
"I'm glad you're here too. Wait.. Your name is not Zelda? How can that be?" My fingers intertwined with hers and she looked at me staring withthose gorgeous eyes of hers.
“I didn't think it could get any worse, but apparently my mom didn't approve of the name and my dad started calling me Zelda permanently after she left us.” Her eyes became watery and soon she rested her head on my shoulder crying her eyes out. It hurt seeing her like that.
I hated seeing Zelda so heartbroken, I loved her so much, I had never seen her this sad before.
“I'm so sorry babe, just know I'm here for you, and so are the boys” I told her and hugged her tightly. “I know..” She nodded and pecked my lips before closing her eyes.
“Zel?” Luke nudged me, I turned to him vaguely smiling “Yes?”
“What's your real name? You don't have to tell me, I'm just curious” his eyes rested on mine, they had that special twinkle I couldn't get enough of. “Sure.. It's Yasmin Olivia Ângela Fernandez Carman” my voice sounded tired and dead.
Luke's eyes widened as he heard the name, there were a lot of names, but I guess that was just Brazilian culture. I didn't know anything about my family, I had no idea how they lived or what the culture was like.
It would have been nice to know that I had a family, because dad didn't really have any. He had never talked about his family or mom’s family.
The only person I had in my life until now was dad. He was now out of the picture until I was ready to forgive him.
From the sadness and aggravation inside me, forgiving dad could take a while.
After a long flight, we finally landed in London. That was were I was from, maybe I could go see the old house? “Hey this is where you're from isn't it?” Calum asked as we got to the baggage claim and got our things.
I nodded and felt a warm sensation in my body, I was actually back in London, never in my life had I thought I would comeback and yet here I stand taking everything in. We were picked up in a black car and driven to a flat where we were staying for a few days before going to the first country for the tour.
Luke and I were sharing a room, I didn't mind, that just meant more time with Luke. I unpacked the first few things, I knew I couldn't unpack everything as we weren't staying for long.
"Hey princess" Luke came into the room, wrapping his arms around me from behind. I relaxed my head on chest "hi babe".
"I'm so happy you're here Zel.. What should I call you anyway?" I felt Luke's warm breath on my neck. "Me too. You know, I'm not really sure? Zelda feels so weird now that I know it's not my real name" I turned around and crashed my lips onto Luke's.
"I like Olivia, call me that for now.. Let's see how it goes" shrugging my shoulders I went back to unpacking. "Olivia, yeah I like that too" Luke kissed my cheek and walked out of the room. Olivia.. It sounded kind of weird since no one had called me that before. I just wanted to be the real me, the problem was I didn't know who the real me was.
When I had put my bags away, I decided to take a shower and put comfortable clothes on and my favourite cozy socks. The boys were hanging out in the living room, I went and sat down cuddling up beside Luke on the couch. "Hey.. You okay?" He wrapped his arm around me and kissed my forehead. "Yeah I'm okay" I nodded resting my head on his shoulder.
"What are we watching?" Calum asked slouching down on the couch. "A movie?" I looked at the boys, they nodded in agreement. "Cool which one?" Michael giggled. "Star Wars?" I grabbed the DVD from the TV cabinet and held it up. They nodded eagerly straining their necks just to get a look at the picture on the front.
I put it in the DVD player and started it. I cuddled up beside Luke, he took my hand as our fingers intertwined. It was like putting on a pair of shoes on that fitted perfectly.
It was just right. I finally knew that where is was now, was the right place for me to be.
Okay guys, finally updated this chapter, it's not that long but I'll try to make the next one longer 👍
