3. Three

It was Saturday morning; I was lying awake in my bed, thinking about how awesome this day was going to be. Me and my dad together having fun. I heard a knock on my door; my dad showed his head, he looked a little sad. "Mornin' dad, are you okay? I thought you'd be excited to spend the day with me?" I joked and sat up on my bed. He came into the room and sat down beside me. "Okay, so I know I promised you the day with me, but the thing is... They just called from work and they want me to come to the office. I'm so sorry, I will make it up to you I promise okay?" My smile slowly turned into a frown; I looked away trying not to sound too disappointed "it's okay dad, go to work and do whatever you must, I'll figure something out.." I forced a little smile but my dad knew me better than that "I know you, I can see you're disappointed and so am I but I promise I will try to make it up to you. I love you, just remember that. Okay take care, I'll see you later" he hugged me; it always felt so nice when he hugged me. I nodded and breathed in.

When my dad left for work, I figured I'd just stay in my pyjamas what should I do after all? I decided to watch a movie on Netflix. Netflix had always been there for me, it would never disappoint me.

Luke Hemmings' POV:

Saturday, me and the boys were at my house just hanging out, playing some FIFA, even though Ashton just looked because he didn't play it. I wasn't really focused on what I was playing, as my thoughts took me somewhere else. Lexa the girl we met earlier this week was stuck in my mind. I kept thinking of when I touched her hand, it almost felt like electricity shot through me. I'd probably never see her unless I actually went straight to her house. But it would just be weird if I did it, wouldn't it? "Hey mate, you're not really participating here, why?" Calum disrupted my thoughts. "Sorry I was just day dreaming" I apologised trying to act more into the game, but I wasn't really.

We ended the game after a few minutes and instead we began practising for our band. 5 Seconds of Summer was our band name, we just sort of stuck to it, we couldn't really find a name that was better. I loved band practise it was a blast like always and we sounded great. One Direction had asked us to go on tour with them which was pretty amazing, we would be going on tour in about 8 months. We were all really excited that our music had made it this far, and we were finishing the last bits and going to school before we had to go on tour. It was just amazing to see that our music was being heard, and now we had millions of views on our YouTube videos. We were slowly getting more popular.

Zelda's POV:

When it was seven thirty my dad still hadn't come home. I decided to go for a walk. It was in September but luckily enough it was still warm, that was one of the things I liked about Australia even though I'd only now lived there for about three days. The sun hadn't set just yet, there was still a little light; the sky was beautiful in its red and orange colours fading towards the sun. I took a deep breath of fresh air and exhaled slowly. I put in my earplugs and turned on the music in my phone. I walked past Luke's house, yeah it was still the same as my house. I wonder what he'd be doing now; he's probably hanging out with his three friends. They all seemed so nice, but at the same time really awkward which was really cute.

I was getting tired of walking and went back to the house. Still no sign of dad. I jumped back in my pyjamas and hopped into bed. I watched some vampire diaries and fell asleep.
