23. chapter 23
Monday sucked. Usually you like school days to go by fast but today I wanted it to stay slow. The longer I could stay away from my house the better. I didn't want to speak to my dad and I also had this deep feeling of guilt as to why him and my mom fought last night. Ever since as my dad calls the "rebellion stage" my parents had been fighting more again and I couldn't help but feel like the reason why. Today also sucked because Luke wasn't coming to my school today. He texted me saying he had lunch with someone very important today and didn't think we could see each other at all today. I had a feeling last night made him upset. He was afraid I was going to leave him because of his fans but if anyone would leave anyone he would leave me because of my dad.
School finally ended and I got home. Unfortunately my dads car was parked in the driveway and my moms car not there. I got out of my car to find Luke sitting on my front porch. I walked up to him and said, "what are you doing here?" He had a big smile on his face and he got up as kissed me. "Back your bags were going to London." I gave him a confused look. "What?" Was all I could say. "I may have convinced someone to let you go." My eyes grew huge as I began to jump up and down! "Wait what how?" I said trying to control my excitement. "I have some charm in me." He said winking at me.
Luke left me to go inside and talk to the man In charge. He was making some kind of snack when I walked into the kitchen. "Hi." I said acting like I didn't know what Luke had just said to me. "How was school?" My dad asked. "It was good." I responded. "That's good." It then got silent between us. He didn't say anything about London, was I not going? "Shouldn't you start to pack?" My dad said looking right at me. It was true! I ran over to him and hugged him. "Thank you so so so so so much!" I said squeezing him tight.
I spent the rest of my week waiting for it to be Friday so I could leave. I packed all my clothes and got my homework from my teachers and even got most of it done. I was so excited. I has only even been to the U.S where I lived and Australia so I was really excited to go to Europe.
Finally Friday came and I said goodbye to my parents and brothers. My dad and I had a conversation the night before on why I was allowed to go and how Luke had talked him into letting me go and how much he actually started to respect Luke. That made me so happy to hear him say that.
When we got to the airport I saw I wasn't the only one excited about going. All the guys were just as thrilled as I was. I felt bad because since I was now the fifth member on this journey one of the boys had to sit away from the group. Luke and I sat together, Calum and Michael sat together, and Ashton had to sit behind us. I offered to switch with him until a pretty brunette came in and sat next to him and made everything better.
The flight was long and I spent most of it sleeping, listening to music, and watching movies. As we got to the UK I looked out the window. It was so beautiful seeing the country as we began to land. We got our luggage back and drove to the boys flat. It was actually a really nice place. It was late when we got to their place so we all headed to bed excited to spend the next two weeks in this beautiful city.
