First there was the scream.
Then the clank.
And Mabel was certain she'd heard a thud too.
With all this noise originating from Pirate's Cove, she knew something was wrong.
She hadn't moved for a moment, not sure what everything meant, but it only took her a second to realize she'd heard that scream before oh so many times.
She took off to Pirate's Cove in a run, hollering for her brother the whole way. She wasn't paying even the slightest attention to where she was going.
At least not until she slammed right into Bonnie.
She looked up with wide, frightened eyes.
"H-Hey, Bonnie," she stuttered. "Hope you're not mad at me for climbing on you. I-If I'd had known you were - you were alive..."
Bonnie took hold of Mabel by her sweater collar and began to pull her, trying to bring her with her. Mabel didn't know where, and until she knew what happened in Pirate's Cove, she refused to go. Her twin brother was in danger, and she had to help. She pulled her sweater off and tried to run; however her arm was stuck in the sleeve. She pulled and pulled until the sweater ripped, leaving Bonnie holding half, and Mabel absentmindedly clinging on to the other.
Mabel fled, but it was clear that she was being followed. She ran into the first room she found and waited until she saw Bonnie walk past.
She realized she was just where she wanted to be. Pirate's Cove.
One second thought, maybe she didn’t want to be there...
A strangled cry came out. The sight in front of her was a total nightmare.
