1. I Rang The Doorbell Twice

A poof of powder here and there

And I’m all set for tonight’s scare,

I held my pumpkin oh so tight

And head on for the neighbour’s fright,

I rang the doorbell twice

And yelled “Trick or Treat” with all my might,

And out the door a Mummy sprang,

And he gave me some butter cups.

I Skippity hopped across the road

And went for the neighbour’s door,

I rang the doorbell twice

And yelled “Trick or Treat!” with all my might,

And out the door a Wizard sprang,

And swished and swooshed his wand on guard,

He tossed me some of his candy corn

And magically shut his door,

I Skippity hopped across the road

And went for the neighbour’s door,

I rang the doorbell twice

And yelled “Trick or Treat!” with all my might,

And out the door a Fairy sprang,

And fluttered her wings in her delight,

She hands me some of crystal pops

And winks her eyes as I bid goodbye,

My pumpkin now is almost full but I

Skippity hopped for one last door,

I rang the doorbell twice

And yelled “Trick or Treat!” with all my might,

And out the door a stranger sprang

With bloody knife on his hand,

I caught a glimpse of what’s inside

And saw my neighbour lifeless eyes.

I tossed my pumpkin in his face

And yelled “Trick or Treat!” with all my might,

I ran across the neighbours’ doors

And went for my mother’s door

And out the door my mother sprang

With bloody knife stuck in her back;

The stranger got my mother’s back,

I should not have ringed the doorbell twice.
