53. Chapter 59 : Guacamole

Helen's POV

I was sitting on my bed, on a Saturday afternoon, scrolling through Twitter when I got a text from Calum.

Calum: Hey, are you busy?

Me: No just sitting in bed. Why?

Calum: I want to take you out, if you want, of course.

Me: Yea, I'd love to, what do you have in mind?

Calum: It's a surprise, pick you up at 7

Me: Okay, nothing fancy right?

Calum: No

Me: Great! See you then

That was sudden. Didn't expect me to take me out again and so soon. I checked the time, 5:09. I still have time.

I leaned back until my back hit the headboard.

Suddenly my door cracked open.

Luke poked his head in.

"Do you know how to make guacamole?" He asked.

I gave him a puzzled look. Out of all the things he could have asked me, he chose to ask me if I knew how to make guacamole.

"Yea, why?"

"Can you make me some?" He asked and smiled widely.

He looked like that one emoji that is smiling very wide with it's eyes closed, plus the lip ring.

"Sure," I replied and got off my bed.

"You're the best," he said.

I looked at him, "Stop kissing ass."

He laughed.

I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen.

"How much are you going to want?" I asked.

"Just a small bowl," he replied.

I nodded and opened the refrigerator door. I took out two avocados, one onion, one tomato, and some cilantro.

I handed Luke the onion and a knife.

"What?" he asked.

"Cut it," I replied.

He huffed but began cutting.

"Why did you give me the onion?" he asked.

"Because, I don't want my hands to smell like onion," I replied.

"Why? I mean, you're not going anywhere," Luke said.

"I'm going out," I said.

"Where?" Luke asked.

"I don't know, Calum didn't tell me," I replied.

"Oh, you're going with Calum."

"Yea, I'm going with Calum, do you have a problem?" I asked.

He held up his hands in surrender.

I nodded and cut the ingredients.

Luke gave me the onion he cut.

I smashed everything together, I made sure there was enough avocado.

I put some in a glass bowl and handed it to Luke, who was already grabbing the tortilla chips. He took the bowl.

"Thanks," he said.

"No problem, and there is more here, because you'll probably get some more. I don't know, depends if you like it or not."

I was just about to reach the top of the stairs when Luke let out a loud grunt.

"What's wrong?" I called out.

"The guacamole is so good!" He replied.

I snorted and went into my room.

I took a long refreshing shower.

When I got out I dried myself off and wrapped a towel around my hair.

I jumped into some black tight skinny jeans that had a rip on one of the knees. I slipped on my best Fall Out Boy shirt and my black Converse.

I unwrapped the towel from my hair and brushed the knots out of it. After that I blow dried it and let it fall around my shoulders.

I considered putting on some mascara or eyeliner.

Nah, I'd feel very uncomfortable with makeup on. It makes me feel like I'm suffocating my face.

I wonder where Calum will take me?

Hopefully The Cliff, it has a nice view and it's very relaxing.

After a couple of minutes I heard Luke call out my name. I checked the time, 7:00. I quickly went into the bathroom and brushed my teeth before walking downstairs.

Don't worry. I'm working on a new update after this one. So be patient. Love ya! :-) xx -HelenHood
