We are going on a family vacation for two weeks. I am so excited to finally take a brake from everything and get away. "Ashton, are you done packing?" I asked. "Yes daddy. Uncle Ash and Aunt Lo helped me." He replied. "Okay. I'll bring your bags down stairs." I said taking his bags. It felt really heavy. "Ashton what's in here?" I asked opening it up. Inside, Zoe laid there. "Ashton Calum Michael. You do not put your siblings in a suitcase." I said picking her up. "But uncle Ben said you did it with mommy. So why can't I do it with Zoe?" He asked. "Because... Oh forget it. Just don't do it again." I said. He nodded.
Ashton held Lilly, who is now two. Lolly held Zoe who is now one. Michael held Liz, who is one. I held Lucas, who is one month old. And Ashton held my hand. "Calum, hold Lucas for me." I said handing Lucas to Calum. I picked Ashton up, and walked outside. There were so many reporters outside. "Stay behind me with the kids." Luke said. I nodded. "Mommy what's going on?" Ashton asked. "It's alright ashy." I said kissing his head. "Skylar! Skylar! Have you met up with Brad Quill recently?" A reporter asked. "No." I said. "Is that Brad's baby?" A reporter asked. "No." I said. "Are you cheating on Luke with Brad Quill?" Another reporter asked. "No. I haven't seen him for four months." I said. "Here we go ashy." I said buckling him up in his seat. A reporter touched my back. Luke came behind me. "Please, keep hands off of her thank you." He said. "Alright ashy." I said kissing his head. "Elizabeth, sit down in your seat now." I said. She sat down, and I buckled her. Zoe and Lucas were both in their carriages in the back seat. We all took our own cars. We took the SUV, Calum took the BMW, Michael rode with Calum, Ashton and Lolly drove the other SUV.
"Are we almost there?" Ashton asked. "Sweetie, we just left." I said. He went to sleep. "You know, they were talking about Brad, and how they thought Lucas was his baby." Luke said. I nodded. "It's crazy that they would think that." I said. He nodded. "Thanks for telling them off." I said. Luke smiled.
Ten hours later, we arrived at the cabin. It looked like a mansion. It was huge. "Ashy. Come on baby." I said. Ashton was sound asleep. I picked him up, and carried him in the house. Calum, Michael, and Ashton, came in with the rest of the kids. "Thanks. I'll take them up soon." I said, as they put them on the couch.
"Luke, can you believe that just three years ago, we weren't even talking." I said. He nodded. "And now, we are married and have four kids." I said. He nodded. "Is something bothering you?" I asked. He shook his head. "Why aren't you talking to me?" I asked. He shrugged. "Really. We are going to play that game." I said. He shrugged. "Fine. You don't want to talk to me, that's fine. I'll sleep on the couch." I said grabbing my pillow. I walked down stairs.
There were footsteps coming to me. "Baby please come back to bed." Luke said, putting his arms around me. "Are you going to talk to me?"
I asked. He nodded. "Then I will come." I said getting up. "I'm just tired." He said. "We all are luke." I said. He nodded. A tear fell down his face. "what's wrong?" I asked wiping away the tear. "It's just that, all those times that I never talked to you, I was bullying you-" "Shh. Don't. It's alright." I said. "No it's not. I was bullying you since seventh grade. I actually liked bullying you. But, when we talked, I remembered that sweet, kind, sensitive nerd. The nerd that my dad found me in bed with. The nerd that got naked in front of me when we were ten. The nerd that woke up naked in my bed when we were eleven." He said. I smiled.
"Mommy! Daddy! Look! It's snowing!" Ashton yelled. I rubbed my eyes. Outside, there were snowflakes on the ground. "Wow." I said. "A white Christmas Eve." I said. Luke smiled.
We have been there for two weeks, and all that Ashton and Liz did, was fight. "No! I got it first! It's my toy! Stop hitting me!" Four year olds. "Alright. We are going home." I said. Ashton ran into the car, and so did Liz. "Ashton! Stop hitting your sister!" Luke said. "Elizabeth, sit down." I said, buckling her up. We got into the car, and drove home. "What happened to those nerdy glasses you wore when we were little. You know, the ones you wore when my dad found us in bed together." Luke asked. "I still have them. I wear contacts though." I said. "Sky, when did you start cutting?" Luke asked. I sighed. "When we were in seventh grade. You stopped being my friend, and I didn't know how to cope." I replied. He nodded. Luke, is my everything. Even though I got kicked out of his house when his dad found us in bed together. And when he found us naked together. He was always apart of me, whether I liked it or not.
