4. the truth
"What happened today at school?" Michael asked as I was walking to Luke's house. "What do you mean?" I asked. "I saw Calum push you down. And laugh about it." He said. I gulped. "Tell me what happened." He said. "Okay, fine but don't tell Luke. Well he knows half of it, but he doesn't know about today." I said. Michael rolled his eyes. "Well, Calum is the one who bullies me, and you know how he said the other day how he is protecting Luke from getting bullied. Well, I have a feeling he is trying to split us up." I said. Michael sighed. "He pushed you down today. I saw it happen. You just walked away. Why? You should've put up a fight with him." He said. I shook my head. "I don't want to come home crying anymore. I don't want to show Calum that I'm weak. But he knows now." I said.
As I walked into the door, luke greeted me. "Hey can I talk to you?" He asked. I nodded and he led me into the kitchen. "So tell me about school." He said. "Michael told you didn't he." I replied. He nodded. "Luke I promise that if it happens again I will tell you." I said. He nodded. "Are you afraid of me?" He asked. "What! No of course not." I replied stunned. "Good because I want to take you out to dinner tonight." He replied smiling. "Well, I guess since I have no plans tonight I'll go." I replied laughing. He smiled and kissed my cheek.
