This is a taylor swift song. I don't like taylor swift anymore, but I decided this song well with this part, so I'm gonna throw it in there.
For the past few days I've been working on a song. It's about Luke and I. We've been friends for so long, but we actually didn't meet when we were in middle school. We met when I was seven, because of our moms.
"I was seven and you were nine. I looked at you like the stars in the sky, the pretty lights. And our daddies used to joke about the two of us. Growing up and falling in love and our mama's smiled and rolled their eyes and said oh my my my my. Take me back to the house and the back yard trees said you'd beat me up you were bigger than me, you never did. You never did. Take me back to the time when it was one bright light. Dared you to kiss me ran when you tried. Just to kids you and I. Oh my my my my." I sang loudly in the hotel room. No one knew I could sing. It was a talent I got from my mother. "Well I was 16 when suddenly, I wasn't that little girl you used to see, but your eyes still shined. Like pretty lights. And our daddies used to joke about the two of us, we never believed we would fall in love. And our mama's smiled and rolled their eyes and said oh my my my my. Take me back to the creek as we turned up. 2am driving in your truck and all I need is you next to me. Took me back to the time we had our very first fight. Slamming up doors instead of kissing goodnight, you stayed outside til' the morning light. Oh my my my my.
There was a knock on the door. "Who is it?" I asked. "Michael." He said outside the door. I opened the door. "I heard singing. Was it you?" He asked. "Um. I thought you went out with the guys." I replied trying not to answer his question. "I stayed here, was it you that was singing?" He asked again. I nodded. "Sky you're really good." He said. "Please don't tell anyone. If they find out, then I know that Luke or someone will pull me up onstage tomorrow." I replied. He nodded. "Did you write that song?" He asked. I nodded. "Who's it for?" He asked. "Well, it's about Luke and I." I replied. "But it said, 7 and 9. And 16, I thought..." "Yea I know. You thought we met in middle school. But we didn't. We were friends since we were little." I said. Michael looked confused. Yea I know. You thought we met in middle school. But we didn't. We were friends since we were little." I said. Michael looked confused. "Anyway, why didn't you say you sing? Who did you get your voice from? Who knows? Did you-" "Michael. Slow down. I didn't say anything because I know you guys would do something stupid. I got my voice from my mother. And my mother knew, and she told Liz, who kind of took it farther than I thought she would." I replied. "Michael you have to promise me you won't tell anyone." I said gripping his shoulders. "I won't. I promise." He said. Michael can never keep his mouth shut. "Michael Gordon Clifford. You CAN NOT TELL ANYONE!" I said again. "I won't. I promise." He said again. I'm hoping Michael is telling the truth that he wouldn't tell anyone, but for some reason, I didn't believe him.
