99. Little Ashton's Girlfriend?
"Mom. Is dad home?" Ashton asked throwing his bag on the floor. "He's upstairs." I replied. He started up the stairs. "Not so fast young man. Pick up your bag." I said. He walked over to the door, and picked up his bag. "Thank you. Now go ahead." I said. He ran up the stairs.
"Dad." Ashton said walking in. "Yea little man?" I asked. "Can I talk to you? I don't want to talk to mom about it." He said. "Of course. Have a seat." I said turning off the tv in my room. "So, there's this girl at school. Her name is Alex." He said. I nodded. "And I really like her." He said. "Oh. You go dude!" I yelled. He laughed. "But dad, we are going out." He said. "You have a girlfriend in fifth grade." I said. He nodded. "I wish I could've gotten a girlfriend in fifth grade. But, keep the relationship going ash." I said. He nodded.
"So why did he want to talk to you?" I asked as Luke came down stairs. "Ashton has a little crush." He replied opening the refrigerator. "Awe. Really?" I asked. "Yeah. They are actually dating." He replied. "Awe. My little boy has a girlfriend." I said. Luke laughed. "He got one before you." I said. "Hey!" He said. I laughed. "I can't believe Ashton has a girlfriend." I said. "I know. He's growing up." He replied. "Just like his daddy." I said, Luke smiled.
