32. Dinner Gone Wrong
"Sky, let's go out for dinner tonight. Just the two of us at a fancy restaurant." Luke said. I nodded. "I have a few dresses in my closet." I said. He laughed.
I decided to wear my black short dress, with silver heels. My hair was straight. "You ready?" Luke asked. I nodded, and we walked down the stairs. Luke kissed my cheek, and we went into his car. "We are going to a fancy restaurant right on the beach." He said. I smiled.
"Table for two, under Hemmings." Luke said. The waitress guided us to our seats, obviously flirting with Luke, but he payed no attention to her.
As dessert came, everyone started to stare. "Skylar, from the day I met you when we were younger, I loved you. When you came knocking on my door the day you got kicked out of your house. We stopped being friends, but I never stopped loving you. You are the light that shines on me, my best friend. My girlfriend. My one true love. The one who changed me from a bad boy to this. The one who changed me to feel love. The one who knew me the most. The one who took care of me when I needed to be taken care of me. The one who helped me out through rough times. The one who is always there for me." He said. I smiled. "I love you so much." He said. I smiled.
"Luke! How could you! Look at her! Shes nothing!" A fan yelled. That hurt. Wow. "Just keep walking." Luke said. I tried to keep my hand with him, but the crowd was swimming around me. I then, got pushed under the crowd. "You're nothing! You're ugly! You're old! You're nothing to him!" They all yelled.
I turned around and saw a huge crowd. Skylar! I pushed through the crowd, and saw Skylar lying there. "Skylar?" I asked. No answer. "Luke." She said. I picked her up and carried her into the car. "Luke. The baby." She said. "I know. It's alright. I am taking you to the hospital." I said.
"Nurse. She got beat up badly by fans." I said. The nurse waved over a wheel chair. "Alright. Any medical situations? Pills anything?" The nurse asked. "Yes. She takes pills for nightmares. Her brother died in a crash-" "I know. Skylar Williams is a familiar patient. Anything else?" She said. "Shes pregnant." I said. The nurse had a look on her face.
