Dean and I split up a few weeks ago, some petty argument about him refusing to admit he pushed me whilst going through the common room entrance, there was no one else there! Pathetic. But its fine, I'm over it.
Quidditch is currently the biggest worry, Harry has managed to go and get himself detention (with Snape) on Saturday morning, meaning he can't play our final quidditch match determining who wins the cup, Slytherin are currently in the lead, which is obviously why Snape did it. Even if we win it’s not enough, we have to win by a big enough margin, and without our captain and seeker, that's never going to happen! I've replaced Harry as seeker, and unfortunately for me Dean has taken my usual position as chaser, this is going to make things a bit awkward! But that's irrelevant.
Point being that we are almost certain to fail, which means Harry is unlikely to be picked for captain next year if we fail this year. But he's such a good captain I just any help but wonder what the team will be like if someone else is in charge!
Saturday came around soon enough and after breakfast Harry wished us all good luck before he reluctantly made his way back up the castle to detention with Snape, I mean who gives someone detention on quidditch finals day? Snape is a dick and that's the only way he can be described.
I could tell the only place Harry really wanted to be was on his firebolt shooting around the pitch looking for the little golden snitch, but today that was my job. He's told me before how he feels more at home on a broom than anything, and how quidditch is the highlight of his school years, and now he's not even allowed to play our most important match!
The match went well (surprisingly) we used all the tactics Harry had given us beforehand, plus a few injured players on the other side helped us, but we didn't just win, we won by 360 to 80, meaning a 240 point margin... Meaning we won the cup!
