6. Life can't Get Better
I woke up the next morning smiling to myself, had it all been a dream? I knew not although it had all seemed too good to be true!
I guess from then on Harry and I started seeing each other, like a proper couple, I've never been so happy! Gossip had spread through the school by now and everywhere I went people that passed me went into fits of chatter whispering things such as 'the chosen one' and 'Harry's girl' although, this didn't seem to bother me too much as I was happy, happier than I ever had been and I didn't want it to end. Ever.
We shared the most amazing times together, just him and I, by the lake, under the trees, in the common room, we got on so well and he never failed to make me laugh, we'd spend hours just in each other’s company, normally arguing about who the best quidditch team was or something similar, not once did we fall out over anything petty like most people do, life was perfect. He'd look me straight in the eye and truthfully tell me about everything, there were no secrets (other than those Harry shared with Dumbledore - but I daren't ask) there was nothing to fault, other than his hair never really being controllable, but that just made him cuter, and constantly having to fix his glasses, but Harry being Harry was always off meddling in things he shouldn't, and this normally got him into fights or duels, so coming out unscathed, other than broken glasses always seemed a miracle to me. The hours we spent together went by so quickly, one night before I left him for bed, we were saying goodbye and he whispered in my ear, 'I love you' the words I’d been longing to hear, he kissed me and scarpered off to his dorm, leaving me sat in the common room to grin at myself. Life couldn't have been better (apart from a disgruntled Ron) however all too soon everything became a crashing reality.
It was the night Harry went off his secret mission with Dumbledore that things changed, for the worse.
