24. Harry's Secret Suprise
We all headed out of the great hall and back to our common rooms. I was expecting Harry to leave us to head to his office, but he didn't, he followed us through the portrait hole and collapsed on a sofa. I jumped on top of him and laughed at all the first and second years awing over him and looking sheepish as they approached and asked for his autograph.
I was about to head up to my dorm when he grabbed me and threw me over his shoulder. I screamed, probably loud enough to wake the whole castle. He dragged me up another set of stairs, which I had always noticed but never really thought about. I wondered where he was taking me when we came to a solid brick wall.
He tapped a certain brick and a door magically appeared in front of us, I should have expected something like that having grown up with magic, but it surprised me nevertheless. He marched through the door, which lead down a corridor to yet another door, there was a little silver plaque on the door that said 'Harry Potter and Ginevra Weasley' my mouth dropped open and he looked at me and winked. I was speechless, how he had organised this I had no idea. It was clearly part of the agreement with McGonagall, which I couldn't complain about.
I cautiously pushed open the door to find a double room, it was the biggest room I'd ever seen at Hogwarts, there was a Gryffindor theme throughout and it was beautiful, we even had an ensuite bathroom, and Harry's office had a door directly to this room, so we didn't need to go to the common room if we didn't want to. Nothing could wipe the smile off my face. My trunk had been delivered into the room already and I collapsed on the bed, I'd taken so much in today all I wanted to do was sleep. Harry laughed at me and left me to get ready for bed, he told me not to wait up. He slipped through the door into his office and I fell asleep, the happiest girl alive.
