He's The Only One

Ginny falls for Harry when she's just 10 years old, but how does this develop throughout Hogwarts, and beyond? *I'm aware that Harry and Ron never returned to Hogwarts after the battle, but for the sake of this story i have twisted some areas of the story to make better reading and a better story line*

Finally he began to speak.

"I got a call from Goyle a while back, saying you and him were getting married. Well it's not a secret that I've always thought you're a pretty girl, always had a soft spot for you I have."

Ron, Hermione and I sniggered, before silencing again and letting him continue.

"Anyway, like I said, I've always had a soft spot for you, and wanted you to be happy, and marrying him certainly wasn't the answer. He's a bad person Weasley, you know that, you all know that. He's a murderer. He killed the Dark Lord."

With that last comment Kingsley interrupted. Correcting Zabini and stating the prophecy, therefore he had to die, not to mention the fact harry didn't actually cast the killing curse, he was simply casting a defensive charm and his curse backfired. Also managing to get in how many people Voldemort killed in the same sentence. He then let the now slightly on edge man continue.

"There's still a group of us you know, the old death eaters and a few newer members have teamed up, we want peace and justice. Anyway, we have our sources, found out when and where the wedding was to take place. I wanted to attack before the ceremony, then you and him would never actually be legally bound in marriage, but I was overruled. So we planned the attack. No one was to be hurt, that was the original plan, just take Potter and leave. Well I guess you put up a better fight than we thought. Sorry about you getting hurt by the way Ginny, I never intended for that to happen. Once we'd established that Potter was out of the premises, we carried on the duelling for long enough to get him away, and take enough hair for a few weeks supply of polyjuice potion. In case you didn't notice, I escaped before the ministry turned up and took our men. I always wanted know what it was like to be loved by you, that's why I volunteered to be the spy."

So now I was really confused, why did I need spying on? Why did they want Harry in the first place? Why not just kill Harry? And who was their 'leader'?! I voiced my opinions and of course, thanks to the potion he was willing to answer. So I sat quietly again and let him elaborate.

"Okay, so we think you're up to something, trying to take over the ministry, encourage mud bloods and half-bloods into our world. That's not right. A pure blood is a rare thing now a days. We need to keep it that way. Leader? We don't have a leader per say, well Dolores would be classified as such I guess, she tells us what to do and where to go. But she doesn't have a title or respect, not like the Dark Lord used to. And as to why we want Potter? He would be leading the twisted plan of yours. Also, he deserves to be punished for murder, and along with that, he was the one we knew everyone spoke to, so it was pretty simple really. And we haven't killed him because he could be useful, information source kind of thing, you know the drill."

Where's Harry now? I couldn't help but blurt it out.

"Your darling Potter is safe, for now. He's in a cellar, in Knockturn Alley, Borgin and Burkes to be precise."

With this retort I looked straight at Kingsley who sent Ron to tell everyone to gather a strong group together and head over there, save Harry and come back. And also for Ron to call the ministry to get Blaise into cells for further questioning at another time. For now, we knew enough. But Kingsley and one last question. "We need names. Everyone involved in the 'death eaters' or whatever you call yourselves. Blaise looked angry at the last few words spoken. But answered willingly.

"Well, there’s Dolores, the Gayle’s, Parkinson, Montague, Warrington, Bulstrode, and a few others...."

WE NEED NAMES, of ALL of them. Kingsley shouted at Blaise, even I was scared and I wasn't on the receiving end. Of course Blaise would have answered anyway, the raised voice was not needed.

"Okay okay, I'm getting there. There's Edgecome, Chang got dragged along but never wanted to be there, it's all her fault you knew we were coming. Traitor, she needs to watch her back. Not many others, a few of the old death eaters and that's all, a remaining Carrow relative, a Lestrange, no Blacks as they're known now but relatives of, I'm not sure of all their names though, only a couple to be fair."

The Malfoys were playing on my mind, I eventually managed to get the words out of my mouth 'what about Draco, and his parents?'

Narcissa's a traitor, she wasn't welcomed back, as for Lucius, he's on edge of Azkaban so refused, and Draco for some reason thinks he owes Potter one, and his idea of helping him, is just not joining us, I daren't say he doesn't agree with us. To be fair he did save Draco’s life"

Twice actually. I couldn't help but correct him. I think Kingsley could see an argument brewing, so he called the couple of people Ron had fetched to come in to escort Zabini to the ministry and leave us to take in what we had just found out. We knew enough, I knew possibly too much.
