Luke had came back down, without Audrey, about two hours ago. I suspect he got bored of her because he's usually all over the girls.
In seconds, I was standing up and jogging to the stairs. My ears were ringing from the piercing scream that sounded only moments ago. I ran up the stairs, taking two at a time until I got to the top. I could hear the boys following me as I headed down the hall and into Audrey's room. There, on the floor, was Sarah. The lights were off, but because of the open window, enough light filled the room so that I could see blood pouring from Sarah's hands as she covered her face.
"What the fuck happened!?" I yelled and got both Sarah and Audrey's attention.
"She hit me!" Sarah shrieked and pointed to Audrey.
I whipped my head around to look at her. Anger boiled inside me as I stormed towards her. She backed away until she tripped over a pair of heels. She fell to the ground and put her hands up in defence. I gripped her arm and yanked on it.
"Get up!" I yelled, my face feeling flushed.
I pulled her out of the room and down the hallway. My grip on her upper arm was tight and my knuckles were turning white.
"Let go! You're hurting me!" She cried out in pain.
Tears were streaming down her face as we neared the stairs. Her eyes went wide as I pushed her slightly. My definition of slightly changes when I'm angry apparently. She tumbled down the carpeted stairs, letting out a scream as she fell and hit the bottom. Even if they're carpeted, I can tell it still hurt.
She struggled to get up as I came down after. I yanked her up again and pulled her towards the open basement door.
"Please no! Please!" She begged and grabbed onto my shirt and arm, trying to pry my hand off of her.
My breathing was heavy as we got closer. Instead of pushing her, I just dragged her down the stairs with me till we got to the bottom. Once we got there, I shoved her into the open room and onto the floor.
"I told you not to fucking hit anyone!" I yelled at her.
Tears were still streaming down her face as she stuttered out a response that I couldn't understand.
"Because of that, you're staying down here until I come and get you! Let this be a warning. Your only warning." I growled and looked down at her trembling body.
"Do you fucking understand me!?" I yelled again, not being able to control my voice.
She nodded slightly. I stormed out of the room and up the stairs. I slammed the door shut and locked it.
"How's Sarah?" I asked Calum as he entered the living room.
"Her nose isn't broken, but she's leaving." He told me bluntly before sitting down.
"You've got to be fucking kidding me." I sighed angrily and sat on another couch.
"I couldn't care less. Sarah was a bitch and tried too hard in bed." That brought a small smile to my face.
"Yeah, she was a bitch. She acted like the place was hers. You'd think after the last few months, she'd finally realize that we can tell when she fakes an orgasm." Calum snorted.
"Her voice is worse than Claire's!" He laughed loudly, which caused me to laugh.
"I don't even know why we still have them here. They're both annoying, try hards, and aren't even tight anymore!" We both laughed so hard that tears were starting to form in my eyes.
*fifteen minutes ago*
Luke had left a few hours ago, but I don't mind. I like being alone.
The sound of my door opening brought me from my thoughts and I turned around to see one of the girls that's staying here too. She had long, dark brown hair that was curled to form perfect spirals. Her eyes were loaded with heavy eye makeup, but I could still see her dark brown irises shooting daggers at me.
She took a few steps towards me, her heels clicking against the dark oak wood flooring.
I opened my mouth to say something when she put her hand up, signalling me to be quiet.
"Shut up." Her voice was firm, but still annoying.
I raised an eyebrow at her, but she didn't seem to notice.
"I don't know who you think you are, but you need to leave." She growled and crossed her arms over her chest.
"If I could leave, I would." I told her, boredom laced through my voice.
"You're such a bitch." She stated simply.
I stood up abruptly and pointed a finger at her.
"Look, I don't know who the fuck you are, but if you came in here just to talk shit about me, I suggest you leave because whatever you have to say doesn't change the fact that I'm stuck in the same house with you." I put my hands on my hips after I was done talking.
"Just shut your fucking mouth, god! You're such a little bitch. You just walk around like a tramp and act like you don't want to be here. I'm surprised that Ashton even took you in, he could have killed you instead, but no! He 'had' to take you back here." She ranted and got closer with every word until she was right in front of me.
"I'm the tramp? I'm the fucking tramp huh? You're the one who looks like a fucking prostitute who I'd see working the corner. The only reason why you're here is because you don't mind being a damn toy. You fuck those guys in order to live here. I wouldn't even be surprised if you didn't have to pay to live here. All you've got to do is sit on a dick and then your rents paid." I told her in a low voice, my face was flushed and my breathing was ragged.
"How fucking dare you!" She yelled and jumped on me.
Instead of screaming, I pushed her body off of me. She ran at me again, but this time I was ready. I threw a punch at her and hit her in the nose. She screeched and fell onto the ground.
In a matter of minutes, the boys charged into the room, I was tossed down the stairs and dragged into the basement by Ashton.
I let out choked sobs as I took in my surroundings. The hard, marble flooring was cold, but I didn't care.
On my left, there was a hallway with one door on the left side of it and one more on the right, towards the end of the hallway. To my right, there was a pool table and a ping pong table pushed up against the wall. There was a white support beam with cool designs engraved into it and it lined up with the wall on my left.
The walls were beige and the trim was white. There was a light grey, brick fire place on the left wall, beside the hallway. There were two seats sitting in front of it. The fire place had a white mantle piece surrounding it.
The basement had some windows, so it let in a good amount of natural light.
I stood up, but winced a few times. I decided to check out the room on the left first. I opened the door and turned on the light. It's a bedroom.
The walls were the same beige colour, but the floor was covered with a fluffly, white carpet. It looked like any other guest room. The bed was in the middle of the wall, with a window above it. A chair sat in the far corner, along with a desk and a dresser.
I turned off the light and left the room. I walked to the end of the hall and opened the door on the right. It was a bathroom. It had the same beige walls as the other room, but dark cabinets. It had a small chandelier that sat in the middle of the ceiling. The counter was a light marble, and had small, over head lights above it that were lit up by a touch sensitive pad by the other light switch.
The bathtub was in the corner, between the glass shower and counter. It had a step going into it and looked very nice. The flooring was a light coloured tile that was cold against my bare feet.
After a few minutes of looking through the cabinets, I found what I wanted and locked the bathroom door. I turned on the water and set it at the temperature I wanted it at. I closed the plug and added bubble bath.
Once it started filling up, I went back to the open area of the basement and headed straight for the book shelf tucked in the corner. I looked through the books till I found an interesting one, Enclave.
I went back to the bathroom and locked the door behind me.
As soon as I lifted my arm, I winced as pain shot through my ribs. I sucked in a breath of air before quickly taking off my shirt. I bit down on my lip as I bent down to take off my jeans. I knew my lip was bleeding, even before I tasted the blood.
I set my clothing beside my towel on the counter. My eyes drifted over my body, looking at the new bruises that had started to form. My ribs on the left side were dark purple. I could feel the tears pricking at my eyes again as I looked at my injuries. I wouldn't be surprised if I broke something. I did a quick check to make sure nothing was broken. Luckily, nothing was. Shit! I was supposed to check before I stood up!
I cursed at myself and continued looking at my body in the mirror. I had a few more bruises along my legs and arms, but nothing as bad as my ribs.
I unclipped my bra and slid off my underwear before submerging myself into the hot water. I turned off the tap and grabbed my book. The whole bathroom smelt like mangoes, due to the bubble bath, but I didn't care.
I was about thirty pages into the book when the bathroom door opened. I shrieked and set the book on the counter.
"Relax, it's just me." Calum entered the bathroom, carrying a pile of clothing in his hand.
"What are you doing in here?" I hissed, thankful for the bubbles hiding my naked body.
"I came in here to give you your clothes. I have pajamas and underwear for you." He set them on the other side of the counter.
"So, can I join you?" He winked at me.
"Get out!" I pointed to the open door.
"Alright I'll leave, but it's your loss." He smiled cockily at me before closing the door behind him.
I sighed and pulled myself out of the bathtub. I quickly changed into the clothing Calum brought me. Black spandex short shorts, a Blink-182 t-shirt and a pair of black and blue checkered socks. The small bruises along my legs and arms were very noticable. They were dark purple and hurt a lot.
I bit back tears as I stared at myself in the mirror. I took my dark brown hair out of the bun it was in and let it fall over my shoulders and down my back. It was in natural waves that stopped just below my ribs.
I tore my eyes away from the mirror, not wanting to look at myself anymore. I opened the bathroom door and walked into the bedroom.
"Damn you take forever."
I let out a small scream as I looked over to see Calum sitting on the bed.
"You scared the living hell out of me." I exclaimed, putting a hand over my heart and feeling it moving rapidly.
"Sorry babe." He chuckled and stood up.
"Don't call me babe." I told him, crossing my arms.
"No can do babe." His accent was evident in his voice.
"Can you please get out." I asked impatiently.
"Nope." He chuckled, a hint of amusement in his eyes.
"Who says?" I argued with him.
"Ashton's orders." He spoke matter-of-factly.
"Fuck Ashton." I'm starting to get angry with him.
"Woah, I'm not that desperate." He laughed lightly.
I rolled my eyes and placed my hands on my hips.
"I want to go to sleep, so please get out." I sighed as he shook his head no.
"Nope, I'm staying in here with you." He smirked at me.
I rolled my eyes again and started to walk when a sharp pain radiated from my ribs.
I instantly winced and grabbed my side.
"Shit, are you okay?" Calum rushed to my side.
"Yes, I'm fine." I pushed him away and stood up straight, even though my ribs ached.
"I can get you some pain killers or ice if you'd like?" He suggested, scratching the back of his neck.
"No really, I'm fine." I snapped at him.
He put his hands up in mock surrender and took a step back.
I bit my lip and started walking to the bed again. My ribs ached even more and I collapsed on the bed in pain.
"I'll be right back." Calum left the room, slamming the door behind him.
I layed on the bed, breathing lightly as my ribs hurt every time I took a breath. My legs hurt and my head pounded, so him slamming the door just made me hurt more.
A few minutes later, there was a knock at the door and Ashton peeked his head in.
"Hey, I brought you some stuff." He walked into the room, carrying a bag.
He sat down at the edge of the bed and dumped out the contents of the bag.
"I have an ice pack, pain killers, a sketch book, some drawing stuff, and a few books." He told me softly, pointing to every single item.
I nodded my head and closed my eyes.
"Are you in pain?" He asked quietly.
I nodded my head again.
"Show me where it hurts." He didn't ask, he demanded.
I opened my eyes to see him staring at me, waiting.
I sighed and sat up, pain shooting through me. I squeezed my eyes shut and took off my shirt, to reveal the black sports bra Calum had brought me.
"Open your eyes." Ashton's voice was quiet, but firm.
I opened my eyes to see him staring at me, sadness and hurt played around in his eyes.
"I'm so sorry." He apologized.
I didn't say anything.
He leaned into me and planted his lips on my neck.
"I'm so sorry."
"If you were sorry you wouldn't be doing this." My voice was calm, but on the inside, I was angry.
I was angry at him for pushing me down the stairs. For trying to apologize by kissing me. For kidnapping me. For dragging me to a club and getting me drunk.
"I'm trying to apologize to you." His head was still sitting in the crook of my neck and I could feel the vibrations from his voice as he spoke.
"Just go, please." I begged, wanting him to leave immediatly.
"Fine, I'm sending Michael down instead then." Ashton pushed himself off of the bed angrily and walked out of the room, also slamming the door.
I put my shirt back on and fell onto my back. The door opened and closed and the bed sunk down beside me.
"Hey... I brought you some water." Michael's voice rang through my head.
"Thank you." I sat up, still feeling pain, and took the glass from him.
He handed me two pills and I took them with the water.
"Can I see your injuries?" He asked me softly.
I took off my shirt and set it beside me.
"I am so sorry for what he did to you. I am so sorry." He started apologizing over and over.
"It's fine. I'm fine. And you don't need to apologize. Ashton already tried. You also didn't do anything so you have no reason to apologize." I told him softly and quietly.
"Why don't we go watch some movies? I can get us some snacks." He suggested.
"Sure." I agreed and stood up.
We walked out of the bedroom and into the living space. There was a door along one of the walls that I missed earlier. Michael led me into the room and turns out it was the tv room Luke and I were in earlier.
"You pick out a movie and I'll go get some snacks." He smiled at me before leaving.
I got on my knees and went through their collection of movies. I finally settles on watching Pirates of the Caribbean. Michael returned a minute later with a big bowl full of popcorn and two cans of pepsi. I handed him the DVD and he put it in. I sat beside him on the couch and turned my attention to the giant projector screen.
Michael's arm was slung over my shoulders and I was leaning into him, almost asleep. My eye lids felt heavy and I could barely keep them open.
Sunlight shone right into my eyes and something moved beside me, but I'm too tired to care. I groaned and rolled over, burrying my face into the pillow. After a few seconds I started to get up but winced from the stiffness in my muscles.
"I'll close the curtains, just go back to sleep." A voice rang out.
I opened my eyes to see Michael in loose sweats that clung to his waist, and no shirt. He closed the curtains and turned around. He had a tattoo on his arm that I couldn't read, but it stood out on his pale skin. His sweats were loose enough they showed his v-line.
I closed my eyes again and rolled back over. Michael layed down again and pulled me into him. Normally, I would have pushed away, but I'm too tired and my whole body hurts. I fell back asleep almost instantly.
When I woke up again, Michael was asleep and had his arms around me. I removed his arms and stood up. I painfully walked to the bathroom and brushed out my hair. I opened the door and ran right into Michael.
"Sorry." I squeaked and stepped out of the way.
He laughed and stepped into the bathroom. I went back to the room and sat on the bed. I took two more pain killers and finished off the water.
Michael returned to the room and sat beside me.
"Let's go upstairs and I'll make you breakfast." He suggested, holding out his hand to help me up.
I nodded and grabbed his hand. Once I was up, I let go and followed him out of the room and up the stairs. He opened the door and stepped out. He closed it behind me and headed for the kitchen.
"Ashton and Calum are out today, so it's just you, me and Luke." Michael informed me while grabbing two bowls.
He poured Sugar Crisp into both bowls and added milk before setting one in front of me. I mumbled a thanks and started eating. Once I finished, Michael set our bowls in the dishwasher.
"Looks like I get to spend time with you today." He laughed cheerfully.
"What do you suppose we do today then?" I asked him, not as enthusiastic.
"We should go out into the city." He suggested.
"Sounds good to me, I'm going to go get ready." I told him and headed for my room upstairs.
"We're not going to the city that you came from. We're going to a different city." He said sympathetically.
My smile faltered and I paused for a few seconds before continuing up the stairs. I closed the door once I was in the room. I turned on the light to see all the blood cleaned off of the floor. I searched through the closet till I found what I wanted to wear. I took a quick five minute shower, washing my hair and body, before changing and doing my makeup.
I changed into a dark grey, Iron Maiden sweatshirt with the sleeves bunched up just above my elbows, black skinny jeans with rips in the knees. Sweater-lined, lace up combat boots, a black slouch beanie, a normal, silver belly button piercing with a jewel in the middle. Black, butterfly dangle earrings. Green day, All time low, Fall out boy, Asking Alexandria, Panic! At the disco, Marvel, Black Veil Brides, Motionless in White and Bring me the horizon bracelets lined my arms.
I applied a generous amount of eyeliner and mascara. Not too heavy, but not too thin. I added wings and that completed my eye makeup. I put on some lip balm and sparkley lip gloss before turning my attention to my hair. I blow dried it and straightened it. With the way that I straighten my hair, my layers are very noticible.
I put my beanie on and opened the bedroom door. I skipped down the stairs and into the kitchen where Michael was sitting on the counter, playing on his phone. He was wearing a Metallica cut-off shirt and had black skinny jeans on with one of the knees cut out. His bright red hair was in it's normal style. He had a few bracelets on each wrist. but not many. He had small, black hoops in each ears.
"I'm loving the shirt." He chuckled and grabbed the keys that were sitting next to him.
"Thanks." I gave him a small smile and followed him out of the kitchen.
Luke came down the stairs in nothing but boxers and his hair was sticking up everywhere.
"You're looking good." He winked at me, his voice was deep and husky, showing he had just woken up.
I chose to ignore his comment. I followed Michael out of the house and down the side walk. The air was cool and fresh. I haven't been outside in days. I looked around and saw that the house was surrounded by trees. They lined the gravel road that led away from the house. I got in the passenger side and waited for Michael to start the truck.
Once he did, the radio turned on and The beautiful people by Marilyn Manson blasted through the speakers. Michael showed no care to turn it down, so we left it at that.
The drive to the city was about an hour long, and the scenery was just trees. Michael had plugged his phone into the AUX cable and had a playlist full of Iron Maiden, Marilyn Manson, Nirvana, Metallica, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. I don't recognize the city at all. I'm still upset about not going back to my city.
Michael pulled into a parking lot and took out the keys. I got out of the truck with him and followed him inside the building. Oh, an ice cream parlor.
"Can I get a straw berry ice cream please? In a cone." He asked the cashier.
"What do you want?" He leaned down to talk to me, considering he was a lot taller than me.
"I'll get a chocolate cone please." I told the lady and she typed it in.
"That will be $4.67." She said, her tone showing she was bored.
Michael handed her the money and took the two cones from her. He handed me mine and we left the building. Instead of going back to the truck, Michael went another way. I followed him down the street and into a nearby park. He sat down at an empty picnic table. I sat down on the other side and silently ate my cone.
"What do you want to do?" He asked me after he finished his cone.
"I don't know. What can we do?" I was close to finishing mine since the cones were small.
"We could see a movie, go for a walk, go to the mall, go to the bar." He started naming off things to do.
"Let's go to the mall." I decided.
We stood up and made our way back to the truck. Michael drove to a mall that was close to us and parked close to the building. We walked into the left entrance and headed for the first store we saw, Spencers.
"Audrey, let's get this for you!" Michael held up a box.
I read the label and gave him a disgusted look.
"Why the hell would I want a candy thong?"
"For sexy time with me." He wiggled his eyebrows.
I laughed and took the box from him and put it back on the shelf. We decided we weren't going to buy anything in the mall, just look around.
"Michael, why don't you get these glow in the dark condoms?" I tossed him a small box.
"Only if I can use these on you." He smirked.
I raised an eyebrow and took the box from him. I put it back and continued looking around.
"Okay, how about I get the glow in the dark condoms, you get the candy thong. Then later tonight you can wear this," He held up a red and black lace corset, "then I'll wear this," He pointed to a pumpkin party suit.
"Maybe another time." I laughed and made him put the clothing back.
We exited the store and made our way to a different one.
"I have an idea. We're gonna go to that store," He pointed to Stitches, "and I'm going to pick out clothing and you have to try them on."
"Alright." I agreed and followed him into the store.
After a few minutes, he had a few things for me to try on. We asked for a dressing room and he handed me a shirt and shorts, while keeping the others with him.
I locked the door and started taking off my shirt. Once I had my clothes off, I put on the shirt and shorts. The shirt is a black cut-off that said Nothing to wear in bold, white letters. The shorts are a very light grey with small rips in them. I decided to keep my shoes off. I opened the door and Michael stood up, setting the other articles of clothing on the seat beside him.
"I think we should buy it." He gave me a once over, admiring my tanned skin.
"We agreed not to buy anything remember?" I reminded him.
"Why did we do that?" He asked rhetorically.
"Because if we didn't, you would have bought all those naughty things in Spencers." I giggled as he lifted his eyebrows when I mentioned Spencers.
"I still think we should have bought them." He chuckled.
"Honestly this outfit would have been better with a bandeau." I told him, to which he just nodded, agreeing with me.
"Okay, here's the next outfit." He handed me another pair of clothing.
I nodded and stepped back into the change room. I quickly looked in the mirror on the wall, once I closed and locked the door. He's right, the outfit did look good on me. I took off the clothing and hung them on the top of the door. Michael's hand appeared and he took the clothing off of the door.
The next outfit was a pink, thin material shirt where the sleeves bunched up at the shoulders. It was an off the shoulder type shirt that said I believe in mermaids, fairies & unicorns in thick, black lettering. Michael paired it with dark grey, spandex tights. I observed my self in the mirror before opening the door. I liked this one too.
"That looks really good on you." He smiled at me as he looked me over.
"Thanks, I think so too." I agreed with him and he picked up another pair of clothing.
"I have one more outfit after this." He told me before pushing me lightly, in the direction of the change room.
I laughed quietly and stalked back into the room, locking the door behind me.
The black, split hem, v-neck, jumper was loose on me, but comfortable and matched the bright red skinny jeans Michael had paired it with. It was simple and comfortable.
"It's perfect." Michael laughed once I walked out.
"I'm loving the jeans." I told him, watching him agree with me.
"The outfit suits you. It looks really good with your dark brown hair and green eyes." He said, cocking his head to the side a little.
I felt my cheeks heat up from him intensely staring at me.
"Last outfit. I think this one will be the best on you." He winked as he shoved the clothes into my arms.
I closed the door behind me and quickly stripped off the clothing, placing it on the door like I did with the other outfits. Michael took it off the door and I heard him walking back to his seat.
I put on the jeans first. Black skinny jeans with rips starting about two inches from the crotch, and ending at my ankles. The black sweat shirt with bold, white letters that faded at the bottom read: SORRY I'M NOT SORRY.
"I love it." I told Michael just as I opened the door.
"Told you." He smirked as he looked me over.
"I think it suits you." I agreed with him almost instantly.
"Okay, go get into your normal clothes." He chuckled.
I turned around and walked back into the change room. I placed the clothes on top of the door, where Michael took them and walked off, probably to put them back. I slipped my shirt back on and tugged my jeans on. I adjusted my beanie, making sure it looked good. I then slipped on my combat style boots and laced them up.
When I opened the door, Michael wasn't waiting on the chairs for me. I walked throught the store till I found him at the counter.
"Whatcha doing there?" I asked him curiously.
"Paying." He replied casually.
"Michael! We agreed not to buy anything." I argued with him.
He just shrugged his shoulders and took the bags from the woman.
"Have a great day." She smiled at us.
"You too." Michael returned her smile as we walked out.
"Why did you buy those?" I asked him once we left the store.
"Because you said you liked them, so I decided to get them. Now, let's hurry up and get to Fruitas, I want a smoothie before we leave." He grabbed my hand with his free one and pulled me through the crowd of people.
After we got our smoothies, we left the mall because Ashton wanted us home.
"Is Ashton pissed?" I asked Michael as he drove down the highway.
"No, I don't think so. But if he is, I'm not letting him hurt you again." Michael said defensively.
I chose not to reply, but to lean my head against the window, letting my hair fall in front of my face, creating a curtain between us. I closed my eyes and listened to the music that played through the car. The lyrics to Highway to hell ran through my ears as Michael turned up the volume. The song ended in a matter of seconds and suddenly Teenage Dream came on. I lifted my head off of the window and turned to look at him.
"Katy Perry is amazing." He chuckled as the beginning notes played.
He started singing casually, his voice was strong.
"Cause I can feel your heart racing in my skin tight jeans be a teenage dream tonight. Let you rest your hands on me in my skin tight jeans, be a teenage dream tonight." His voice was strong and sounded amazing.
The song ended soon after.
"You're an amazing singer." I smiled up at him.
He looked over at me, his smile growing bigger.
"I don't sing that much." He admitted, turning his attention back to the road.
"You should, you're really good." I told him, watching as his cheeks turn red.
We arrived at the house and Michael turned off the ignition.
"Let's go in and see what Ashton wants." He sighed and got out.
I got out too and followed him to the front porch. He turned the door handle and opened the door, closing it behind me. I bent down and untied my shoes before kicking them off.
"Michael, Audrey, come here please." Ashton called out from the living room.
"He's in a good mood." Michael informed me.
I trailed behind him into the living room where Luke, Ashton, Calum and a girl with purple hair and a leather jacket were sitting on the couches.
"This is Riley, she'll be replacing Sarah." Ashton announced.
The girl looked back and forth between Michael and I before standing up and walking towards us.
"It's nice to meet you." She smiled at me.
"You too." I hesitated before replying.
Michael nodded at her before peering over at Ashton.
"Is that the only reason you wanted us back?" He asked him, clearly annoyed.
"I also wanted Audrey to do our laundry because I'm running out of clothes." Ashton looked over in my direction.
I sighed and headed to the laundry room, which is right by the front door. There were four baskets in there, all had labels on them, indicating who they belonged to. I put Ashton's in first and added soap and softener before starting it.
As soon as I was done, I went to my room and changed into sweat pants and a tank top before collapsing onto the bed.
I hope you guys like the story so far (:
