"W-what are you d-doing?" My voice came out shaky and my sentence faltered. "If you don't obey me, I will punish you. And if I feel like doing things like this," He kissed my cheek. "And this," He kissed my jaw line. "And this," He planted his lips on my neck. "You will let me." His voice came out muffled as he spoke into my neck, his hot breath caused me to shiver.

//Audrey's P.O.V//

After my shower, I proceeded to lock myself in my room and read my book. I was at a really intense part, one that made me forget about the world as I read. After two hours of reading, I managed to finish the book. It was saddening. It ended at a cliffhanger, meaning I'd need to find the next book. Even after I finished, I didn't leave my room. I moved from my bed to the window and stared outside at the trees just as the sun was setting. Winter's approaching fast, meaning the sun sets earlier.

"Audrey?" Michael opened the door and poked his head inside my room.

"We're going out to a friends house in an hour. Ashton told me to tell you to get ready."

I nodded in reply. Michael closed the door and the sounds of his feet retreating down the hall told me he left. I pushed myself off of the window bed and walked towards the closet. I pulled out a pair of dark blue, ripped skinny jeans and an American Horror Story-themed shirt that said "NORMAL PEOPLE SCARE ME". I yanked the shirt over my head and put my hands through the arm holes.

After getting dressed, I proceeded to the bathroom to do my hair and makeup. I pulled my hair out from the bun it was in, and brushed through it. It was relatively dry. I pinned up most of my hair as I waited for my straightener to heat up. Once I finished straightening my hair, I plugged my curling wand in and curled the tips.  Then, I started on my makeup. Keeping it simple, I did foundation, mascara, eyeliner and lip balm.

I slipped on a pair of light blue, ankle socks. Grabbing my black converse, left my room.

"Audrey, lets go!" Michael yelled from the bottom of the stairs.

As I entered the living room, I saw Michael and Luke waiting patiently by the front door.

"Where's Calum and Ashton?" I asked as I approached them.

"In the car."

I nodded and slipped on my shoes. Michael locked the house once we left. The cold wind swirled around us, making me shiver. I followed him into the garage and got in the car. I sat in the middle of Luke and Michael in Ashton's black Ferrari. Ashton and Calum sat up front. Ashton backed out of the garage, pressing the clicker to close the door, and pulled away from the house. He turned on the stereo and The Dope Show by Marilyn Manson played loudly, making me jump and cover my ears. Calum reached out and adjusted the sound, making it a lot more quieter.

"So, where exactly does your friend live?" I asked after Ashton turned off the dirt road.

"About 10 miles away." Calum replied, looking back at me.

I nodded my head in acknowledgement. Looking past Michael's head, I stared out the window at the silhouettes of the trees.

In just under ten minutes, Ashton turned down a dirt road, much similar to ours. Instead of taking twenty minutes, it only took five till I saw the house from the opening in the trees. The house looked modern and new. Ashton parked in front of the garage. I waited for Michael to get out before joining the others. I heard the car lock behind me as we walked up the porch steps. Michael knocked loudly on one of the two double-doors. After a few seconds, the door swung open. I couldn't see who it was due to the fact that I was standing behind Luke.

The guys all entered the house, leaving me to follow behind. I closed the door and slipped my shoes off, pushing them to the side. Quickly, I followed the guys into the living room. They all sat down, leaving me to awkwardly stand at the entrance.

"You guys didn't tell me you were bringing a guest." A British accent rang through my ears.

A guy wearing a grey beanie, with brown hair peaking out, stood up. He walked over to me and held out his hand. Shyly, I took his hand and shook it. He looked to be the same age as Calum.

"My name's Tyler." He introduced himself while looking at me with bright blue eyes.

I nodded in acknowledgement, blushing lightly as he stared at me.

"What's your name, love?" Tyler smiled softly at me.

"Audrey." I replied, keeping my voice quiet as the cute boy's smile widened.

"You have a lovely name." He brought my hand to his face and kissed my knuckles.

Someone cleared their throat and we both looked over to see Ashton glaring at us. I pulled my hand away from Tyler's grasp and placed it at my side.

"Audrey, come sit by me." Calum smiled widely, motioning for me to join him.

I nodded and made my way over to him. I sat between him and Luke. Our shoulders and thighs were touching, making me feel squished and uncomfortable.

"So, Audrey, how'd you meet the boys?" Tyler sat down on the couch in front of us, between Michael and Ashton.

"Well, uh, I-"

"I met her in town." Ashton cut me off.

I glared at him and opened my mouth to speak again.

"I found her wandering around in the back allys. Turns out she ran away from home and then I took her back to our house." Ashton spoke before I could.

He completely avoided eye contact as I sent him daggers.

"Now why would you run away from your home?" Tyler asked, turning his attention to me.

"Uhm... My home life isn't that great?" I stated awkwardly, making it sound more like a question.

"Oh, I can see it's a very touchy subject for you, so I'm not going to pester you." Tyler gave me a lopsided grin.

I silently thanked him for not pressing into the topic.

"So, what's the real reason you guys are here? Obviously it's not to show off your new girl." Tyler clasped his hands together.

"Well, we have a problem..." Luke started, but didn't finish his sentence.

"What kind of problem? Got a girl pregnant problem? Or a "I killed a man and I need you to hide the body" problem?" I heard Michael's muffled laughter after Tyler spoke.

"Okay, here's a shortened version. Y'know Mark? Well, he snuck into our house, threatend Audrey, and then tried to rape her. Ashton shot him in the stomach and we don't know if he's dead or not." Luke told him quickly.

"Oh, that kind of problem. So what exactly is it that you want me to do?" Tyler's accent wasn't much different from the other guys, but there was still a noticable difference.

"We want you to figure out if Mark is actually dead." Luke continued to speak.

While Luke and Tyler discussed the situation, my thoughts drifted to Ashton. He wasn't even paying attention to the conversation. His eyes were glued to the wall. I studied him as stared at the wall, deep in thought. His elbows were placed on his knees as his head rested in his hands.

"Ashton!" Tyler snapped his fingers in front of Ashton's face, pulling him from his day dream.

"What?" Ashton asked, jumping slightly.

"I asked, when did you shoot Mark?" Tyler had an amused expression on his face.

Ashton shifted in his seat, clearly uncomfortable at how straightforward Tyler's being with him.

"Yesterday between eight and nine pm." Ashton's voice was quiet as he spoke and stared at the ground.

"Well, it's been almost twenty-four hours. Do you know where Mark lives?"

"I think him and the rest of his little "gang" all stay in one house together." Calum spoke up for the first time since he told me to sit beside him.

"Do you know what house?" Tyler leaned forward and grabbed a notepad and pen off the coffee table.

"I'm not exactly sure which house it is, we've never been there." Calum shrugged.

"I've been there." Michael sat up a bit more.

"Wait, when?" Ashton asked, seeming more interested in the conversation.

"Like, two years ago. Mark wanted me to join him. It was when you and him had that fallout because he stole all that stuff from you and you hunted him down and beat the fucking shit out of him. He tried to get me to join his gang and spy on you guys. He followed me to the mall and then took me to their house." Michael spoke casually, as if it wasn't important.

"Why didn't you fucking tell me that happened! He tried to get you to fucking spy on us! What a fucking bastard." Ashton raised his voice slightly before mumbling the last part.

"I turned down his offer. I didn't think it'd be that important." Michael shrugged his shoulders and rolled his eyes.

"It's not important? Of course it's fucking important! God fucking dammit Michael! I swear you're the most stupidest person I know. All you do is play video games and eat! You're completely useless and have no real reason to be part of this group!" Ashton stood up and pointed at Michael as he yelled.

"Ashton!" Calum jumped up from his spot beside me and pushed Ashton back into his seat.

"You know what Ashton. You're a fucking ass! All you do is yell at people. You yell and hurt peoples feelings!" Michael yelled back as he got up.

I watched as Michael walked out of the room. Calum was still hovering over Ashton, talking harshly to him.

"You can't just fucking say things like that. Michael is your best friend."

"He just made me so fucking mad."

"I don't care how mad you are. You do not have a reason, or the right, to yell at Michael. He's been your best friend for ten years. He's been there for you after everything you've done. After everything you've said to him. He's still your best friend."

"Then why did he yell at me?"

"Because he's done with your shit."

Calum pulled away from Ashton and walked out of the room. Leaving Ashton, Luke, Tyler and I in silence. Tyler's eyes were wide, as if he was surprised to hear Ashton yell. Luke was staring at his lap and fiddling with his fingers. Ashton was avoiding eye contact with everyone.

"Well, I'm going to go see if I can get Michael to tell me the whereabouts of this mystery house." Tyler awkwardly left the room.

Ashton's eyes made contact with mine as I sighed. I stood up, leaving Luke and Ashton to themselves.

When it was time to go, I could feel the tension in the car as Ashton drove back. After I left Ashton and Luke in the living room, I spent the remaining time with Michael and Tyler. Michael didn't seem upset, but I could tell he wasn't himself. He wasn't smiling or lauging at anything. His answers were short and quiet. I didn't try talking to him about it, out of fear he'd snap at me.

By the time we got home, I could see that Ashton was annoyed. Even in the dim light of the garage, I could see his knuckles were white from gripping the steering wheel. His jaw was tense and his shoulders fell heavily with each breath. Unlike Ashton, Michael looked calm. He stared out the window the whole drive. I couldn't see his face though, but I knew he was upset. I don't know much about Michael and Ashton's past with each other, but from what I heard, they were very close.

After the awkwardly silent drive, we all got out of the car. Ashton slammed his door angrily, but regret washed over his face as soon as it happened. His car is extremely nice, and new. Ashton walked ahead of everyone, leaving the garage. Luke and Calum followed Ashton out the door. The front door opened and closed again. Michael slowly walked to the door. I held it open for him and he mumbled a thanks as he walked out. Once we got inside, Michael kicked off his shoes and left them in the middle of the mat. I picked them up and set them beside mine on the shoe rack.

"Michael?" I quietly called after him.

"Yeah?" He replied, not bothering to turn around.

"Let's have a sleepover." I watched as he slowly turned around to give me a confused look.

"A sleepover?"

"Yes, a sleepover."

"Meet me in my room once you get changed and have a pillow and blanket. Bring your phone and laptop." I told him, offering a small smile.

He nodded awkwardly and continued upstairs. I followed him but turned into my room and closed the door. I changed out of my jeans and sweatshirt and put on a pair of jogging bottoms along with an All Time Low sweater. I pulled the blankets and pillows off of my matress and made my own bed on the floor. After a few minutes, Michael knocked on my bedroom door. I rushed to open it and found Michael standing there, his blanket thrown over his shoulder as he balanced his laptop, pillow, and chargers in one hand. I grabbed his pillow and laptop from him. I closed the door behind him and set the stuff on the bed.

"So what are we doing?" He asked, his voice was full of boredom.

"Well, what do you usually do at sleepovers?" I crossed my arms and stared at him.

"I usually play video games, but they're kinda stupid now..." His voice cracked slightly as he sat down on my blanket.

My face softened as I sat down next to him.

"Michael, do not let Ashton's words get to you. Playing video games is not stupid. And you are not useless. You're like my best friend." I tried to reassure him, but it didn't look like it was working.

"Do you know how it feels to have your best friend yell at you like that? Sure, Ashton's yelled at me before, but he's never said that stuff to me. If it was someone else, it wouldn't have mattered. But when it's Ashton, my best friend of ten years, it hurts."

I pulled Michael in for a hug, rubbing his back as I heard him sniffle.

"I don't think Ashton meant it. He may be a jerk, but he didn't mean it. You're his best friend, Michael. Ashton's stressed and tired and moody." Michael pulled away from me instantly.

"You're defending him!?" His eyes were wide and teary.

"No, I'm not defending him. He had no right to say that. But I'm telling you to think about it. He didn't mean what he said. He's tired, stressed and moody, and the littlest things set him off." I sighed, running a hand through my hair.

"He did look pretty tired this morning... But I'm still not forgiving him." He let out a small groan.

"You don't have to." I smiled softly at him.

"Okay, let's talk about something else. Have you heard The Trooper by Iron Maiden?" He smiled back at me.

"Look, I'm just saying, I think Sleeping With Sirens song Kick Me is like a big "Fuck you" to all the haters." I exclaimed, lying back on my pillow.

"No, Kellin was probably pissed when he made the song, that's why it sounds so angry." He rolled his eyes.

"It doesn't even sound angry though. And if anything, he would be pissed about the haters." Michael snorted at my comment.

"What haters does Sleeping With Sirens even have? They're like, perfect. I would go gay for all of them." Michael sighed, sitting up and crossing his legs.

"Wait, you're not gay?" I asked, raising my eyebrows in surprise.

"Shut up." Michael smacked me with a pillow.

I let out a laugh and covered my face.

"I'm kidding! I already know what you get up to in your spare time." I winked at him as his face turned red.

"Shut up!" He whined, covering his blushing face.

"Awh, is Mikey blushing." I giggled, pulling his hands away from his face.

"You're so annoying." He groaned, shoving my shoulder lightly.

I gasped dramatically, swatting his arm.

"That's mean!"

"You deserve it!" He replied childishly.

"You're like a five year old." I rolled my eyes, but smiled at him.

"When am I not?" He laughed loudly.

I laughed along with him till he suddenly stopped.

"What's wrong?" I asked, watching as he stared behind me.

I turned around and saw Ashton standing there.

"Ashton?" I stood up, along with Michael, who stood back a bit and refused to meet Ashton's eyes.

Ashton didn't reply, instead he invited himself in and sat on my bed.

"What are you doing?" I asked, watching as he laid back.

"I dunno." He replied in a bored tone.

"Have you been crying?" I step closer to look at his eyes.

I knited my eyebrows in a confused manner as I stared at his eyes, which were red and puffy. Suddenly, he burst out laughing. Holding his stomach and gasping for air as he laughed loudly.

"What's so funny?" I asked, looking back between him and Michael.

"Oh you've got to be kidding me. Are you high Ashton?" Michael finally spoke, crossing his arms.

"Maybe." Ashton replied, still giggling.

"For Christ's sake. It's been six months Ashton! You choose now, of all times, to get high again." Michael rolls his eyes and pulls Ashton off of my bed.

I watched the two walk out of my room and into the hall. Minutes later, Michael returns and closes the door.

"He's asleep now. I made him lay down and he almost instantly fell asleep." Michael sighed, sitting on the blankets again.

"What did you mean by "again"? Has Ashton been high before?" I asked, curiosity getting the best of me.

"Yes. He has. But it's been six months since he was last high." Michael replied, running a hand through his hair.

"So, it's been six months since he smoked weed." I clarified.

"Yes and no. He didn't just smoke weed. It used to be a lot of other things too. Like Cocaine and Heroin. He's even tried Acid once or twice."

"Really?" I asked, surprised that Ashton has done drugs.

"Yeah. We don't know what happened to him. It started with the alcohol. He drank a lot. But then after that, he started doing weed and pot. That's why we moved out here, because the cops kept coming 'round and we'd have to cover for him because he'd be high and the house would smell like pot." Michael told me, seeming comfortable talking about this.

"When did he start?" I awkwardly asked.

"Well, he met Mark three years ago. And I think he started two years ago. So a year after he met Mark. I think it was Mark that got him addicted. It only started out with smoking. And then it was weed and pot, then it was Cocaine and Heroin. It got to the point where he sometimes even did Acid and LSD. That's when we sent him to rehab for two months."

"When he came back, he didn't touch a single drug. He was clean and healthy. We thought he was going to die if he kept doing all these hardcore drugs. A little marijuana here and there isn't too bad, but the hard drugs are addictive and we were scared he'd end up killing himself." Michael's voice cracked slightly as he spoke.

"I'm sorry Michael." I wrapped my arms around his shoulders.

We sat like that for about five minutes before pulling away.

"Wanna watch some anime on Netflix?" He asked, a smile tugging at his lips.

"Which one?"

"Soul Eater?"

"Yes, oh my god, that's like my favourite besides Sword Art Online." I exclaimed, giggling as he grabbed his laptop.

I am so sorry guys ! I know I didn't post last week. I didn't have the chapter finished. I was procrastinating so much because I didn't know what to write
