A loud bang caused all of us to wake up. I shot up from the couch, Ashton doing the same thing as me. Cal and Mike just groaned.
“Shut up,” Michael mumbled, burying his head into a pillow.
“Not our fault you’ve got a hangover,” I snapped.
“Don’t talk so loud,” Calum begged.
“I’M SORRY, WHAT DID YOU SAY?” Ashton shouted, causing Cal to whimper.
“Stop being such a prick,” Michael whined, pulling the blanket over his head.
Suddenly, Luke stumbled into the living room. His hair was a mess, and his clothes were all crumpled up.
“Why’d you guys leave me at the party,” he pouted, frowning. He slouched down on one of the couches, obviously hungover.
“Yeah, why did we?” Calum asked groggily, looking at me and Ash quizzically.
“He knows why,” Ash said shortly.
“Yeah,” I mumbled.
“I.. Do?” I he asked, looking at us in confusion.
“You don’t remember do you,” Ash said blankly.
“Uhh… No?” he said awkwardly.
“Do you know what you did last night?” I asked tiredly.
“Um, I drank? And, got drunk?”
“Where’d you wake up today?”
“I don’t know.”
“You don’t KNOW?” I screamed, frustrated. Luke, Cal and Mike all simultaneously winced at my loud voice.
“No,” he said quietly. “Why? Did I do something last night?”
“You-“ I started, before quickly stopping myself. “You know what? Never mind. Who cares.” I angrily walked to the kitchen, Ashton following closely behind me.
“You’re not gonna tell him?” he asked quietly, as I slammed a cup down on the table angrily.
“No,” I said shortly, pouring water into the cup.
I sighed, leaning against the counter. “He obviously doesn’t remember anything from last night. So what’s the point of telling him anyway? And besides, what could he do to make up for it anyway?”
“I honestly think you should tell him, but it’s up to you really,” he shrugged. “I’m gonna go get something for their hangovers.”
“Okay,” I sighed, slumping down on the seat.
“Just go through the cupboards for some breakfast, I’ll be back soon to join you,” he patted my head before walking off into the living room.
I dug through the cupboards and fridge, making myself and Ashton a bowl of cereal each.
“I made you breakfast,” I said, shovelling a huge spoonful of cereal in my mouth.
“Nawww, thanks Tashy,” he grinned, digging in straight away.
“So, what’s gonna happen today?” I asked nervously. I really wasn’t in the mood to look at Luke, let alone talk to him.
He shrugged. “The others probably won’t wanna do anything because of their hangovers. Maybe we could go out and do something together?”
“That sounds great,” I grinned. I missed spending alone time with Ash.
“Cool, let’s go out now?” he suggested. I nodded eagerly, dumping my finished bowl of cereal in the sink, Ash following closely behind me.
“Hey guys, Tashy and I are going out now. Have fun recovering from your hangovers. Don’t miss us too much,” Ash said loudly, strolling into the living room.
Cal and Michael groaned, burying their heads into the pillows.
“Shut up and go away,” Michael mumbled.
“Wait, you’re going out?” Luke asked groggily.
“Pretty sure that’s what I just said,” Ash said sarcastically, obviously still pissed at him.
“Like, as in, a.. Date?” Luke asked nervously, furrowing his eyebrows.
I burst out laughing, instantly smothering it when remembering Cal and Michael were still in the room.
“Us? Dating?” I giggled. “You’ve gotta be kidding me.”
“Hey, I was just asking,” he pouted, though there was a slight amount of relief on his face.
“Date, no date, just get out. We’re trying to sleep,” Cal groaned.
“Fine,” Ash huffed, dragging me out. “SEEYA LOSERS,” he hollered, purposely slamming the door.
“So,” Ash grinned, pulling me towards the car. “How does bowling sound?”
