Michael, Ashton and I lay on the ground, exhausted. We had been jumping around, jamming out to random songs for the past 3 hours. Mike was a great person to be around, always lively and smiling, owning a bubbly personality.
Eventually, we all caught our breaths again, finally able to talk.
“So Mike, how often do you change your hair colour? I mean, I swear your hair was blue like yesterday,” Ash asked, squinting at Mike.
Michael laughed. “yeah, it was actually. I dyed it again last night,” he said.
We were all quiet for a moment, enjoying the silence. Suddenly, Michael spoke up.
“Hey why don’t we sleep over at my house tonight? I meant like, why not? We could get to know eachother better. And Tashy, you could clear the rumours up for me too without having to be worried about someone hearing you,” Mike said, excitedly.
“Oh my god yes! It’ll be so much fun,” Ash squealed, looking at me happily.
I thought for a moment. Dad wouldn’t care if I didn’t come home tonight, would he? I mean, it’s obvious he hates me, so why not?
“sure,” I eventually said, agreeing.
“oh my gosh yes! I haven’t had a sleepover in ages! Luke and Calum never want to sleep over,” Mike said, putting his and my guitar away. “Come on, hurry up, I can’t wait!” he said, running around the room, tidying up.
I laughed and got up to help him.
We all piled into Ash’s car, making our way to Michael’s house.
We screamed along with the radio, receiving dirty looks from the cars passing by. We laughed and flipped them off, speeding away.
We finally reached Michael’s house, racing each other to his front door. Ash made it there first, which led to him doing a dance of victory.
“HA BEAT THAT YA SUCKERS! I WON. WOOOO!” Ash screamed, jumping around.
Mike and I groaned as we opened the door, flopping down on the couch.
“I wanted you two to sleep over so I could have fun, not so I could hear Ash go on and on about him beating us to my front door,” Mike whined, pouting.
Ash danced in, continuing to sing and dance in triumph. Suddenly, we heard someone clear their throat.
Mike and I shot up, looking around, as Ash stopped dancing, becoming silent.
Luke and Calum were standing there with their arms crossed, making it obvious that they weren’t happy.
