11. Chapter 10

I woke up, not knowing where I was. I felt a pair of arms wrapped around my waist and panicked. I turned around and saw Ash. I instantly relaxed. I got out of bed to get ready for school, but ash’s grip got tighter, pulling me back into bed.

I sighed, “Ash, we really need to get out, we’ll be late for school.”

“Why would you care if you were late for school anyway.” He groaned.

“I want to see Mrs. Jones in the morning,” I replied, trying to get his arms off me.

He groaned, but let me go. I quickly brushed my teeth and got dressed. I came back to ash’s room to see he was also ready. We grabbed an apple to eat on the way to school, and made our way out the door.

I sighed. I really didn’t want to go to school today. But yet again, when did I want to go to school?

Ash parked his car, and we got out of the car, going through the school gates. Luke and his group were standing there near the gates. Abby was latched onto Luke’s arm, and were violently making out (IM SORRY vIOLENTLY MAKING OUT IDK). i started to feel tears coming to my eyes. I don’t know why, but I was crying a lot lately. Ash must’ve noticed, because he dragged me into the music room, closing the door behind us.

Mrs, Jones wasn’t in the room, leaving us two alone. Ash hugged me, whispering comforting words into my ears. I eventually stopped crying, and started feeling really stupid.

“i feel so stupid right now,” I whispered, hanging my head in shame.

“why is that?” ash questioned.

I sighed. “I miss Luke.” I said quietly. “I’d do anything I could to be friends with him again. But there’s no point in my trying really, he can’t even stand being near me. He’s part of the popular group now, and they obviously don’t want me around them. And there’s also Abby, who still hates me.”

Ash didn’t say anything at that, he just hugged me tighter. We stayed that way until the bell rang. I sighed as Ash let go of me. We slowly made our way to our first class.

This time, we only arrived 5 minutes late to class, which was pretty early for me. My teacher looked surprise to see me so early.

We took a seat up the back corner of the classroom, preparing ourselves for this lesson. I don’t even know what subject this is. I sighed trying to think of something to do. Suddenly, I felt Ash take my hand, squeezing my hand comfortingly. I smiled up at him, and squeezed his hand back.

I looked out the window and saw two birds together. Like a couple of days ago, they were messing around with eachother, having fun, while one bird stood off in the distance, sadly looking at the other two, wishing it could join in. then, to my delight, a bird came and landed next to the bird by itself. It looked as if they were talking to eachother, though they obviously weren’t, since they’re birds. I don’t know why, but that made me glad, glad that the bird finally found someone.
