So, I'm officially grounded for a month, a whole, entire month. My parents are so mad... I'm not even allowed to leave my room, its a good thing I have my own bathroom... They leave food outside my door and if they ever need to tell me anything they write a note and push it under my door. I guess you could say, I'm being given the "silent treatment" which is really immature if you think about it... Anyway here's what happened.
I walked inside and my parents slammed the door behind me. My mom started " Ellie Grace Smith, what on Earth have you been doing while we were away? Huh? Got a makeover, I see, and a boyfriend too. Anything else? Tattoos, belly button rings? I can't believe this. You were a good girl and now you look like a... -"
"A what, mom?"
"A ... slut"
"Speak up, I can't hear you!"
"A SLUT! You look cheap and ugly. Look at your clothes! This is not the girl I raised you to be!"
"You know what, mom? Your right, I'm not the girl you raised me to be! You know why? You never did raise me! You have always been working! You don't know me, so don't stand there and call me a slut!
"Ellie, don't talk to your mother like that! She loves you, and so do I. We just want what's best for you, and what you have become isn't!" My dad cut in.
"What I've become? Are you serious? You've been home for 5 minutes and your saying I'm some sort of cheap slut? Well here's some news for you, I'm not this ugly bitch that you're making me out to be! So just stop talking right now, and listen to what you're saying, I'm supposed to be your daughter, not some sort of monster!"
" Watch your language, young lady. Get to your room right now, you are grounded for a month!"
So, here I am right now, laying on my bed dying of boredom, dreading going back to school tomorrow and telling Niall that I won't be able to go on a date with him for a month! Urghh I need to get something to eat, they give me three meals a day and nothing in between, so I'm really hungry. As I was sneaking downstairs I heard my mom whispering to my dad, " Oh, Jack, what are we gonna do? Our daughter hates us and she has turned into a bad person because we weren't there for her all these years..."
"Sue it wasn't our fault"
"But, you heard what she said-"
"Yes, but this happened when we were away, and she started school, and met that boy."
"You mean, you think he was the reason she did this?"
"Yes, and she won't be seeing him anymore. She will be back to normal before you know it."
I heard someone getting up so I ran to my room. A note was slid under the door saying,
Ellie, you are no longer allowed near that boy, under any circumstances.
I started banging on my door and shouted " Dad, no! You can't do this!" Another note was slid under the door,
Yes I can.
I banged to door once more before I lay down and cried until no more tears would come and went asleep.
I woke up that morning earlier than usual, so I wouldn't have to face my parents. I got dressed, and slid a note under their door, two can play at that game, it said,
I've left for school. P.S. Don't talk to me ever again. Elle
I know that's a bit dramatic, but come on, their being totally unfair. I walked downstairs and made breakfast. I got my phone from the drawer and texted Niall saying,
Don't pick me up today.
I hoped I wouldn't wake him up. I left and walked to school. I'm dreading telling Niall that I can't see him anymore. I felt a tear escape my eye. I barely know him but it feels like we've been friends forever. I don't want to lose him.
