15. The Final Jam
Alyss p.o.v.: "Good morning everyone! As you all know, this is the last full day of the camp..." "BOO!!!" Some boys yelled, being upset about it. "Yet, it's a shame, but it isn't over yet. Tonight is the Final Jam. Your parents will watch it, so make sure you guys rock this place!" Yolandi informed us, being excited as always. "I'm sure you will work hard for it, but the most imortant thing is to have lots of fun!" Cedric added and we cheered. When I got up, Luke grabbed my arm. He led me outside, where we are alone. Then I noticed he carried some album. "Here, take this." Luke said and he handed me the album. It was full of pictures. Not just pictures from us, but also from our friends. From the entire camp, actually. I smiled while watching them. Only then I realised it's the last day Luke and I get to spend with eachtoher. "Luke..." I said crying. "Oh no, you don't like it, do you?" He said. I laughed and kissed him passionly. "No, I don't like it, Luke. I love it. It's just... It's our last..." But he cut me off by pressing his index finger on my lips. "Don't say that. Look, I don't know what'll happen to us. I don't know if we'll see eachother again. Don't promise to write me, Alyss. We live miles away from eachother. I truly hope our relationship won't end. But I don't know if that's possible. If it's impossible, then please remember this as one of the best summers you'll ever have. Then remember us. And know that I'll never get anyone who I'll love more than I love you." Luke said. We were both crying. "I love you, Alyss." "I love you too, Luke. More than anything." Ashton's p.o.v.: An hour after breakfast, the boys and I came together. "I think we need a name." I said. "We already have one. I'm Michael, this is Luke, that's Calum and you're Ashton. You should know that by now." Michael said which made Luke and Calum laugh. I rolled my eyes. "I mean a band name, you idiot." I replied. "Okay, what about... The Australian Punk Rockers?" Michael suggested but I shook my head. "Never gonna happen." "You got a better idea then, do you?" He replied. "Actually, I do. What about 5 Seconds of Summer?" "That's not a bad idea." Calum agreed; Luke nodded. "5 Seconds of Summer it is, then." answered Michael. We practiced alot and after lunch, it was finally time for The Final Jam. I greeted my parents and my little brother Harry, who ran to me and hugged me. "Hey kiddo." "I missed you, Ash." "AWW, I missed you too." When everybody found a seat, Yolandi and Cedric informed our parents. First, we did a group act. It went really good. I played the drums. Then the other groups came. The lads and I were last, so we had to wait a long time. But when we were on the stage, we rocked it completely. We even got a standing ovation! Ten minutes later, the winning ticket arrived. "And the winner is... 5 Seconds of Summer!" The lads and I stepped towards the middle of the stage, receiving the cup and barely realising what happened. Everybody cheerd. Then I realised this amazing camp is over. Well, we still get to spend one night here. I'll miss this. I definetely will. Author's message: One more chapter to go!
