From Luke's POV
Seriously what was taking so long!
I looked at my ring watch and squinted in the low light to see the time
So much for is getting to LA at 10
I looked around. Michael was still with the pilot, ashton was staring out the window at the airport and cal was sleeping.
"What is Michael doing?" I said openly
"Talking to the pilot" Calum replied
I turned to look at him, curled up in the chair, he opened one eye to look at me
"Thought you were asleep?" I questioned
"Luke? When do I ever sleep on a plane" he said laughing as he rejusted his position in the seat
I paused, "good point"
"Anyways I know what Michaels doing but whys it taking so long?"
"Why not go ask-"
At that moment Michael walked out, well more like slid out of the tiny gap in the open door and pushed it to slowly
He looked suspicious.
More so than usually
He looked at me quickly
"What's going off, why are you whispering when were obviously still going to hear you?"
"Um- well um I- I didn't want to wake Calum"
"Not asleep" came cals voice from behind
I watched as ashton quickly scurried off into the cockpit with Michael
"What do you think they're up to? They're obviously hiding something"
"Well I want to find out"
"And how do you suggest you do that Luke?" Calum asked as he sat up
"I'll- I'll hide behind the door and listen"
"You do realise Luke the doors are really thick so you won't be able to hear a thing?"
"How do you know that?"
"It's called logic my friend" Callum said laughing
At that point the plane fell silent, a laugh came from the cockpit
"Well there's nothing wrong with me going into the cockpit like them is there? I mean they didn't say I couldn't"
yes but they didn't say you could did they? Anyway why do you think something suspicious is going off, they're only talking to the pilot what's so suspicious about that? Calum questioned
"Nothing I guess" I said as I redirected my gaze from the door to the window
I took a deep breath
