London lays in between Louis and I on the bed, telling us a story from when we were on tour, I hadn’t told my parents about the baby yet, I don’t think it’s the right time with my brother in the state his in, Louis was leaving in a few hours for his flight back to the US, he had told me they had the week off and instead of him staying in LA where they are playing in les then two days he came to Australia. I wasn’t complaining and neither was London, she was loving having her dad back even if it was for a few days, I told Louis that if Josh doesn’t wake up before Christmas London and I will still join him and the boys on tour like we planned. I had woken up this morning, Louis had an arm wrapped over my stomach and I can’t help but think he was protecting my stomach, after the hospital last night I couldn’t stop thinking about how Louis wasn’t apart of most of London’s life and I couldn’t wait for him to be with me during the start of our new baby’s. I was snapped out of my thoughts at the sound of Louis’ phone ringing; he reached over to the bedside table and grabbed it looking at the caller ID before answering.
“Hello?” he listened for a minute before siting up, he stood up from the bed walking across the room to the lounge under the window, I pull London into my arms kissing her cheek making her giggle, she pushed out of my arms and sat up on her knees, looking down at me before taking a bit of her between her fingers and smoothing it back on the pillow, she continued her actions and I watched Louis as he l spoke to the person on the phone.
“Who was that?” I asked after he hung up.
“Paul.” He informs, “Remember the doctor from last night?” I nod slowly, not quite sure where this was going, “He sold as out to the press.” My eyes widen and my lips part. “He recorded us when he was asking us the questions.”
“So everything’s out?” I ask and he nods. “Should we worry? I mean it saves us telling people about the engagement and the baby. And now everyone knows London really is yours.” He looks down at the phone in his hands, tracing around the outside, “Come here.” I say and he looks up before standing and making his way towards the bed, he flopped down and lay on his side, London still fiddling with my hair. I grip Louis’ hand bringing it to my lips, pressing a soft kiss to the skin, “Don’t worry about it.” I whisper against his knuckles, kissing them again.
Louis, London and I were taken though a back entrance at the airport, I didn’t know Louis had security with him but he told me Paul made him bring it and I was thankful, the flashing lights and the screaming fans around the front frightening London, her being too young to understand who her dad really is and what information had just been leaked, Louis held her in his arms as we got into the airport, from where we stood we couldn’t see the paps or the fans but we could sure hear them.
“Mummy, why are we here?” London asks as we stand around, her arms wrapped around Louis neck as he held her, her cheek resting on his shoulder as she looks at me.
“Daddy has to go back.” I inform her and she pushes her hands into his chest and looks at him.
“You not staying?” she asked and he shook his head.
“No but I will see you after Christmas, it isn’t very far away and guess what.”
“What?” she asks watching him.
“Im going to give you a really big present, even bigger then mummy’s.” he lowers his voice for the last bit, “And better.” I fake cough.
“Right here.” I say before fake coughing again, Louis laughs and so does London.
“Really?” she asks and he nods.
“I promise.” He holds his pinkie out and they shake each other’s little finger.
“Kiss it.” London says and Louis glimpses at me a moment with a smile before the both kiss there thumbs, this was the thing I had taught London and if I didn’t know any better, she loved it. “Lock it.” she says softly and they push their thumbs together, “Put it in a pocket.” She say and they brake the connection and shover their hands in a pocket on there clothing.
“Flight seven one four to Los Angeles boarding now.” Louis and I look towards one another, I smile and he tightens his grip on London.
“I’ve got to go now.” he tells her and she frowns, “Hey, don’t frown.” He taps her forehead with his index finger, and my smile widens at the memory of Louis always doing that to me, “You’ll get wrinkles.” He tells her and she just shrugs it off wrapping her arms around his neck and hugging him tightly, she pulls away and Louis pouts out his lips and London pecks them softly before he places her on the floor, the second boarding call sounds and Louis and I wrap our arms around one another. “I’ll see you soon, beautiful.” He whispers and I kiss his cheek pulling away from him, we look in each other’s eyes.
“I’ll see you soon.” I smile and he pecks my lips before pushing my hair out of my face.
“Look after our babies.” He tells me and I fling my arms around his neck pressing a kiss to his lips, he smiles and laughs against my lips before kissing back and holding me tightly.
“I love you, Louis.” I whisper as my head lies on his shoulder.
“I love you too, baby.” he tells me and we pull away again.
“I’ll see you after Christmas, unless Josh wakes up before then.” I nod and he bends to London’s height.
“Look after mummy for me, okay?” she nods and he holds his hand up for a high five, she slaps his hand and he smiles pulling her into a hug again.
“I love you, Angle.” He tells her as they pull away.
“I love you too, daddy.” He kisses her forehead before standing to his full height and his security ushers him away and towards his boarding gate.
“Ready to go, bubba?” I ask London getting her attention, she was looking in the direction Louis had disappeared into and im pretty sure she was looking for him, she nods holding her hand out for me to take and we go out the way we came in.
