The next morning I was woken up by loud screaming. I jumped out of bed and raced downstairs to see three boys covered in flour in the kitchen.
"What's the matter?" I asked. Louis pouted,
"Harry dumped an entire bag of flour on me for no reason."
"You scared me!" Harry protested.
"I was just trying to get a pancake from the stove," Niall said with a shrug.
"Niall, dismissed. Harry and Louis clean this mess up," I ordered. Larry Stylinson groaned as Niall skipped out of the kitchen.
"But as soon as we're done, you and me are gonna have a little chat," Louis replied sternly. I sighed as the roles were reversed before nodding and going back upstairs.
I sat in my room staring at the ceiling for about twenty minutes before Louis came barging in.
"What on earth Anna Lee? Why on earth went through your mind to come to London?" He demanded. I sighed. I knew it was going to happen sooner or later.
"Ollie's Foster family died," I breathed out, "and they want me to adopt him."
"What!?" He yelped, "You're not serious are you?"
"Do I look like I'm not serious?" I hissed at him. He took a deep breath,
"Are you wanting to adopt him?"
"I'm not sending him to another foster family Louis! He needs a real family and I can't give that to him and neither can they," I cried.
"Oh Anna Lee," He said sympathetically, pulling me in for a hug as I cried. "It will be okay."
"I just don't know what to do," I whispered.
"I'm so sorry Lee."
"I just don't know what to do Lou." He rubbed my back,
"Have you seen Ollie yet?"
"I couldn't bring myself to," I breathed out.
"How about you, me and Mum go see him? I'd love to meet the little booger!" He exclaimed. I smiled up at him and wiped my tears on my sleeves,
"You want to meet him?" Louis grinned,
"Of course! He's my half brother too! Why don't you get ready and come downstairs when you're done so we can all go?"
"Alright," I nodded. Louis kissed my head before quickly leaving the room. I sighed and flopped onto my bed. I heard a knock on the door before it creaked open.
Harry's face appeared between the crack.
"What do you want, Styles?" I muttered.
"Can we talk?"
"Whatever Styles. You have two minutes."
"I'm sorry for kissing you. It was really just an impulse and I'm not used to girls rejecting me. I hope you'll forgive me because I really don't want it to be awkward between us," He said quickly before frowning, "Your brother is my best friend and I don't want to loose him over a girl. I promise I'll never do anything like that again."
"I forgive you Styles," I replied. Harry continued,
"I know you're probably not going to forgive me but I realize I love you like a sister and not like- wait, what?"
"I forgive you, Styles," I repeated, "As long as you won't do it again, I have enough to worry about on top of trying to avoid someone who lives with you."
"Thank goodness," He breathed. I laughed,
"It's all good."
"Cool. Thanks Anna Lee."
"No problem Haz."
A few hours later, Louis, Jay and I were walking into the hospital.
"Chill ALT," Louis whispered. I looked at him as we sat down in the waiting area,
"ALT? Is that like BLT with my initials?" He burst out laughing,
"I guess so, an Anna Lee Tomlinson sandwich." I grinned before remembering what we were doing.
"Smile ALT, don't let Ollie see you down."
"I'm scared Lou," I said quietly, "What if I loose him?" He rubbed my back comfortingly,
"Family of Oliver Tomlinson?" A nurse called. The three of us stood up and she directed us to Ollie's room. I looked at Louis who gave me a thumbs up. I took a deep breath before knocking on the door.
"Come in!" A small voice said. The door slowly opened and Ollie's entire face brightened when he saw it was me.
"ANNA LEE!" He tried to jump out of bed before realizing that he was attached to all sorts of cords and things. I chuckled as I ran over to give him a hug. "I missed you!" He exclaimed.
"I missed you more!" I smiled, tickling him. He started to giggle.
"Who are those people?" He asked pointing to Jay and Louis standing in the doorway smiling. Louis came over and looked at me questoninly and I slowly nodded. Jay slipped out of the room.
"I'm Louis," the tall boy in stripes said with a grin, "I'm your big brother." Ollie's eyes widened and I nervously waited for his response.
"COOL!" He yelled, "I'VE ALWAYS WANTED MORE FRIENDS!" Louis laughed,
"Well good, because you're going to have lots." Jay came back into the room.
"I'm Jay, I'm also Louis and Anna Lee's mommy," She Paused, "I can be your mommy too if you want." Ollie nodded enthusiastically,
"Of course! I'll get to see Anna Lee right?"
"Of course," Jay teased. Tears welled up in my eyes. I couldn't believe it.
"Thank you Jay," I said as I started to cry. She smiled,
"No problem honey. He's part of the family."
