After a wonderful lunch at Nando's (that included Niall stuffing his face for forty five minutes) we left the mall to go to the boys' flat.
The car ride was long and it consisted of the boys chattering and Liam handing me a brand new iPhone.
"No way am I accepting this!" I had said.
"You need a phone to contact us and security." He had replied. "It's part of your job."
After a few minutes of arguing, I finally accepted it.
The driver finally came to a stop in front of a big house. It wasn't as large as Simon's, yet it was big in its own way. It was a orange red color and it was three stories high. I could tell there was a pool in the backyard and a... Trampoline?
Great, just what Louis needs.
The boys piled out of the car, all trying to get out first.
"STOP SHOVING EACH OTHER!" I yelled. They all froze and I climbed over them out of the car. "Take turns." I said. They looked at each other before continuing to shove each other.
"THREE!" I screamed, "TWO!" Liam and Niall stopped and sat down in their seats. The others continued pushing each other.
"ONE!" I yelled, running over to them and pulling them apart. "FREEZE!" I grabbed onto the collars of Louis and Harry's shirts.
"Sit down in a seat." I waited patiently for them. "Liam get out." Liam climbed out and stood next to me.
"Niall, then Zayn, then Harry, and last and certainly least, Louis." I declared.
"HEY!" Louis yelled. I smirked.
"Hay is for horses." I replied as he finally climbed out of the car and slammed the door shut.
"Haha, very funny." He replied sarcastically. I grinned.
"I know right. Lead the way." Louis grinned at me and grabbed my hand, pulling me into the house.
"Wow." I breathed. It certainly wasn't as fancy as Simon's, but it had more of a homey feeling... And it was certainly messy. Clothes were strewn everywhere, along with carrots, books, you name it, it was on the floor.
"Like it?" Louis grinned. "Wait until you see your room." Once again, he dragged me up the stairs and the boys followed. We stopped in front of a turquoise blue door. He opened it up and inside was the biggest bedroom I've ever seen.
A king size canopy bed with a turquoise bedspread. A big white desk sat in the corner of the room with a laptop on top of it. A glass chandelier hung from the ceiling and there were two doors, leading to a walk in closet and a GINORMOUS bathroom.
"Woah." The guys said. I spun around to look at them.
"Have you not seen this room before?" I questioned. Harry shook his head.
"Simon had a designer do it and we weren't allowed to come in until now." He said. I nodded. Liam walked all the way into the room and plopped the four large bags on my bed.
"Here are your clothes." He said grinning. I groaned.
"What the heck did you buy."
"Everything the we liked that was in your size!" Zayn yelled happily. My mouth dropped open.
"How much did it cost?" I demanded.
"We're not telling you!" Louis yelled. I raised an eyebrow.
"Then how the heck am I supposed to pay you back?!"
"You aren't going to." Harry declared loudly. I rolled my eyes and was about to protest when Louis yelled,
"It's a benefit of your new job so get over it!" Harry and Zayn snickered and I rolled my eyes again.
"Whatever. Hey what are my hours and when do I get a day off?" I asked. Niall smirked.
"Tired of us already?" He asked. I sighed.
"Yes and I have Ollie--- I mean things to take care of." I said catching myself almost telling them about Ollie.
"Who's Ollie?" Zayn asked quietly.
"YEAH! WHO'S OLLIE?!" Louis yelled, echoing Zayn. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath trying not to cry.
"Can you please leave." I whispered. A tear rolled down my cheek and I quickly wiped it away. I heard footsteps and the door shut meaning they were gone. I opened my eyes and collapsed on the bed, crying.
"I can't do this." I whispered.
"Do what?" Asked a voice. I jumped off the bed in shock only to see Liam sitting on my desk chair.
"Nothing." I muttered, "Why are you in here." He got out of the chair and embraced me in a hug.
I wanted to make sure you are okay. Even though we're all new to you and you're new to us, we care about you, Anna Lee. We want to be your friends. I just." He paused scratching his head. "You don't have to tell us about who this Ollie is, but I need you to know that we're all here if you need to talk." I smiled up at him.
"Thanks Liam. I just... Have a really rough past and I don't really like to talk about it." He nodded and hugged me tighter, making me wince in pain. I forgot about that punch in the stomach this morning.
Liam must have noticed when I winced because must to my protests, he lifted up my shirt to see my stomach. I winced when I saw a large swollen blue and purple bruise on one of my ribs.
"What's this from?" He asked frowning.
"I.. Um...fell down...the stairs." I lied. He raised an eyebrow and lightly poked the bruise. I screamed.
"THAT HURTS!!" I shrieked. He pursed his lips together.
"Broken." he muttered to himself.
"Don't you dare---" I started.
"LADS!" He yelled. The four boys busted the door open and came running in the room. "Go start the car." Liam said to Louis who nodded and ran out of the room.
"Vas Happening'" Zayn whispered.
"We're taking Anna Lee to the hospital." Liam replied. My eyes widened.
"No-no-no-no-no NO HOSPITALS!" I streamed breathing heavily. "NO HOSPITALS! NO HOSPITALS!"
"Breathe." Liam instructed me.
"NO HOSPITALS!" I shrieked. Harry looked at me strangely.
"What's the matter with hospitals," He asked, "You're the babysitter." I continued to breathe in and out heavily.
"No.... No hospitals..." I yelled, my voice getting weaker. "They'll find out. They'll know."
"Why is she breathing so hard?" Zayn whispered to Niall. Niall shrugged.
"Get me some water." I muttered, still breathing heavy. I closed my eyes.
"Are you okay, Anna Lee?" A voice asked. I opened my eyes to see a concerned Liam looking down at me. Harry ran back in the room and handed me a glass of water. I took a sip and started to breathe normally.
"Sorry," I whispered, "Moment of panic. I don't have great experiences with hospitals."
"Why?" Niall asked.
"I don't like them. That's all," I said sternly. I took another large sip of the water and wrinkled my nose.
"Harry! This isn't water! What is this?" I asked. Liam snatched it out of my hands and sniffed it.
"It's vodka." He said. My eyes widened,
"I have a severe alcohol allergy Liam!" Liam looked panicked,
"What am I supposed to do?" I gritted my teeth, knowing the effects of the allergic reaction would be coming as soon as the alcohol sunk into my system.
"Now you're going to have to take me to the hospital," I replied, "They'll have to pump the alcohol out of my system. The side effects will be kicking in soon." My head started to pound as I said this.
"GUYS!" Liam yelled. I closed my eyes and my head pounded harder.
