Samantha heads to the bathroom to change as I ran to the door. "Luke! It's been about a month since I last say you bro! How was the flight?"
Ash hasn't changed a bit. Still loud.
Crap. I'm blushing I can feel my cheeks getting hotter by the second. "
Luke's blushing," says Michael. "
What are you hiding," asks Calum.
"What are you hiding?" "Um.."
Luke is struggling so I head out of the bathroom still putting on Lukes tank. "
Damn. She's sexy"
Calum walks over to me, pulls in for a hug and looks at my bracelets. Noticing them he quickly backs up and whispers something to Luke. He shrugs. Crap. I try to hold back tears. Try. Try is the key word. Since I'm standing with my back against the bathroom door I turn around and head into the bathroom. Realizing I forgot something I open the door and pull Luke in with me. "
What's wrong baby?"
He grabs my waist and pulls me closer. I push him back.
Can I talk to you without anyone in your hotel room?"
Sure baby." He pokes his head out.
I poke my head out of the bathroom. "
Um..guys can you go home. We can reschedule for tomorrow Samantha wants to talk to me." "
Sure," they all say in unison.
I open the bathroom door and pull Samantha out and carry her to one of the beds. I sit down next to her and she starts crying. She puts her head on my chest and wraps her arms around my waist.
I lift her face up and stare into her eyes for a second. Pain. Pain is all I saw. "
She releases the hug and fiddles with her bracelets. I think I know what's going to happen next. She starts to pull them off one by one. Slowly like it hurts. Once she's pulled all 12 of them off, 6 and 6, she looks at me and she shows me her wrists. She says, "
I counted 10 this morning before I got on the plane."
I look at her wrists,10 doesn't seem like the right number but still, I can feel tears running down my face. I count her cuts. I counted 14. "
I thought you said 10?"
I look at her sad and confused.
I said there was 10 this morning."
I don't know what else to do so I take my bracelets off too.She stares at my wrists. For a long time.
Her voice cracks the kind where you're about to break down.
"Yes baby. Yes."
The worst part, was that she runs to the bathroom... and locks the door. I run to the door and bang on it as loud as I can. Eventually I hear the lock unhinge. She's coming out. She opens the door and stares at me.
