Spring Break for me, so an update for you ;) <3
It's almost my 18th birthday and I do NOT feel like celebrating.
My stomach has been bothering me so much, my mom decided to make me a doctors appointment.
I decided not to tell Luke, because it was obviously, all okay.
After Luke kissed my forehead and left to record, I got in my car and drove to the doctor's office.
"Miss Y/n Y/l/n?" A petite nurse asked, holding a clipboard and opening a door to back.
I slightly raised my hand and got up, following her through the door.
I had my weight measured and blood pressure checked, and was lead to a room, to wait for the doctor and get in the gown provided.
"Hello Miss Y/l/n, I'm Dr. White, and how are you feeling today, hmm?" the old man asked, sitting down on the rolly chair.
"Weird." I answered.
"Weird? How weird?" He asked rolling my way.
"Just different...I've been sick PLENTY of times, but this time, it's- I don't know, just different." I said playing with my hands.
"Okay, well we'll see what's up, first the eye, ear, and tongue checks, then we'll lay you down, okay?" He said standing.
"Okie doke." I smiled.
He put the light in my eyes and ears and the depressor on my tongue, then had me lie down.
"Kinda hurts my back." I complained.
"Okay, just try and lie still, I'll try to hurry." He smiled.
I sighed and relaxed and his cold hands felt my body for lumps or any other unusual things.
"Y/n, would you mind urinating in a cup for us?" He asked, backing up a little to get a small cup from the cupboard.
"Well, not really, but why?" I asked, sitting up.
"Just a simple urination test, to make sure everything's going okay inside." He smiled, handing me the cup. "If you need water, I can get you some."
"No thanks, I'm okay." I smiled, as I walked to the bathroom.
I peed in the stupid, plastic cup and set it on the counter in the room.
"Thank you, I'll give this to the nurses and I'll be right back, only about 7 minutes." He smiled again and left with the cup.
I sighed and laid down on the crinkly paper-covered bed-like thing.
After what felt like hours of my heart racing, thinking of every possible disease I could have, Dr. White came back into the room with a smile on his face and a clipboard.
I took his smile as a good sign, so I let out a breath of relief.
"No ma'am, you're not diagnosed with anything but your new future." He smiled widely.
"What?" I sat up, completely confused.
"Miss Y/n Y/l/n, I am VERY proud to announce that you, ma'am, are going to be a mother." He said, sitting on the rolly chair.
I stared blankly at the man. "Excuse me?"
He smiled and got up to leave, saying I can leave, whenever needed.
It felt as if all 17 years of my life, flashed before my eyes.
All what mom taught me, about being responsible and "safe".
I felt completely crushed, yet, somehow, completely amazed by the new information.
My eyes covered in a glossy liquid, as I brought my hands up to cover my mouth.
I don't really know why, but I began to sob.
Not like a weeping sob, but a joyful one, one that was hard for me to catch my breath.
Never in a million years, would I think I'd be a teen mom. But a mom is always what I wanted to be.
I got up and practically ran to my car.
I didn't know what I was going to do, who to call, but I quickly drove home.
As soon as I entered the house, all of the boys were on my couch.
I smiled and sat beside Luke.
"Hey baby." He smiled kissing my cheek.
Baby...it feels different now, being called that.
"Hi." I smiled, pecking his lips.
"Get a room." Ashton laughed.
"Maybe we will, this one seems great." Luke smirked kissing my lips, down to my neck.
Normally, this would be paradise, but honestly, I'm just not feeling it.
"STAWP IT." Calum exclaimed covering his eyes.
"I swear you mates are like children." Luke smiled, putting an arm around me.
"Might make a few if you keep it up." Michael laughed.
My eyes widened, looking to Luke's face for a reaction of some kind.
I got a smile, YES!
"Yeah, I want kids." He smiled, grabbing my hand and kissing it.
I felt completely relieved-
"But, not now, you know? With the band and all, plus I'm only 18, and yeah, maybe one day though." He smiled again.
I take it back.
It all back.
I'm not relieved.
This will ruin Luke's life.
He's right. He's too young, too happy.
"I know what you mean mate." Michael laughed.
I felt like crying, so I excused myself from the living room, and up the stairs, to my room.
I sat on my bed and bawled.
I bawled like a baby.
A baby, I would have and Luke wouldn't want.
Next thing I know, the lights go out.
Probably an electric outage. A bill, unpaid.
"Y/n? Are you okay?" Someone asked coming into the room and shutting the door behind them.
I knew it wasn't Luke, because I can still hear him laughing downstairs.
"Ash?" I asked, sniffling.
"Yeah baby." He giggled sitting on the bed, beside me.
"WILL EVERYONE JUST STOP SAYING BABY?" I whisper-yelled.
"What's wrong Y/n?" He asked, sounding concerned.
I couldn't see his face but I knew his eyebrows were furrowed.
"Ash..I-I" I couldn't finish the sentence before I started to cry again. "A-and Luke, he won't want it and-he -he has a whole life to live and-" I kept huffing for air in-between sobs.
"Y/n?" Ashton asked. "A-are you pregnant?"
"Ash, I didn't know until today, and the doctor, oh god, the doctor was so happy for me, and I, I was happy for me. But now, Luke was right, we're too young, it's too early for a family, he has so much to do and-" I kept huffing before being cut off by a large, warm embrace.
"It's okay, Y/n, It's all going to be okay, you're going to be okay. I'll help with whatever, seriously, ANYTHING, just, shh, you're going to be alright." He stroked my hair as I cried into his shoulder, and the lights returned.
"Y/n why are you crying...Babe?" Luke asked walking in my room.
