32. Your my baby forever
It was 9:43 when I got home. I carried Tay out of the car and put her resting on the couch next to me, resting her head on my lap. I put the stolen blanket in her legs to keep her warm. I took the chance to look at her face properly for once. Damn wasn't she beautiful. Her hair was turning back to its normal hazelnut brown colour. I still remember the colour it was when we were in Australia. That golden brown colour. Her bruises and cuts that were on her face are nearly faded now. "yawwwn" Taylor was waking up I think. "good morning darling." was what come out of my mouth. She twisted and her face was now facing my stomach area.
There was a draw next to the couch I was sitting on. I opened it up and got out a jewelry box. It was purple and gold. I opened it and saw the ring I bought ages ago. It was rose gold with a big diamond on the top. I kissed it and then closed it. It made a loud noise when it closed and Taylor got a fright. She looked up and sore the box I was holding. "what's that?" she asked. "oh... Umm... It's nothing... Don't worry." are you stupid Justin? I thought to myself. "was that an engagement ring?" she was curious. "ah no it is nothing." I put it back in the draw quickly. She sat up with tears in her eyes. "who is she Justin? Who's the girl your going to propose to. I know it's not me." fuck me. Look what mess I've got myself into. "I bought this ring long ago when we though you were pregnant. I thought if we're going to share a child, then why not share a life?" I tried to sound convincing. But I could say nothing but the truth. "Justin. Just tell me the truth. It's okay." look what shit I've created! "I am. Do you not believe me? If you don't that will hurt me. I don't want to lose your trust." I was whining and I didn't even realize. "then why we're you looking at it?" she was eager for a reason to believe me. "I used to look at it all the time when we broke up. And I am thankful that the ring helped me get everything back to normal. I prayed to God every night holding the ring. I was thinking- don't worry. Do you believe me now?" she nodded her head and rested her head on my shoulder. "I love you Justy." "I love you too Taylor."
