When we stood outside by the busses and the boys had met some of their fans, the two girls who had been sitting on each side of me saw me there and started screaming. They wanted the attention of the band, but all they got was my attention and people were soon asking loads of questions as to why the “I Should Have Kissed You” girl was seen leaving the venue with the band.
Honestly at this point, I did not bother to even think about it because I was so happy that I had finally gotten the answer I had been looking for when I had been stuck in Denmark for six months.
We stood by the bus entrance and was about to enter it. I had called my mum to tell her that I would be staying out for a while, and she didn’t really believe me in the beginning when I told her I would be partying with the band again, but she didn’t believe me when I had said the same thing last night either.
We stood in the entrance to the bus and looked out over the people who were leaving the stadium and the people who were still there looking at us as we left.
“Do you think you could ever get used to this?”
“What do you mean?”
“I really like you Elena.”
“I know you do Harry. But that’s not an answer.”
“Just maybe if you came to England and you were around. You could come with us if you want to.”
“Is that an invitation?”
“It’s up to you. It’s not an invitation. It’s information. If you’re around you’re always more than welcome to come around and say hi, you know that right?”
“Of course I do.”
I smiled at him and somehow I really wanted to kiss him but we needed to talk about that kiss before we did it again and again because I didn’t care that he said he liked me, I needed more proof. I needed to make sure that this wasn’t just a thing that happened and came out of nowhere.
I sat down in the bus by a table. Liam was running around in the back still looking annoyed and pissed off at everything but I guess he was just having one of those days where it was really hard to calm down again.
I moved back a little when his tone was as harsh as it was and looked at him shocked.
“Why are you even here Elena?”
“Why did you come on the bus with us? Why are you following us? What is all of this?”
“I’m not following you and you offered me to come?”
“That’s not what I meant.”
“Then I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
“You’re just another fan Elena…”
My eyes widened at his words but what he said wasn’t true. I couldn’t be just another fan. This wasn’t the major fangirl experience that everyone wanted.
“Or maybe I’m actually different. I’ve always been different and you know that just as well as I do Liam Payne. There’s always been something different for me to come after. I never cared about the fame all I cared about and still care about is Harry as a person. His talent is nothing but a bonus to his wonderful personality.”
“You wouldn’t even have known him if it wasn’t for his talent.”
“Well I guess that’s my luck then. If you really wanna know what’s going on, maybe you should ask yourself why your mate one of your best friends would change the plans of a concert to give someone the ultimate experience. Just one girl after she left him. Why would he kiss that girl? Why would he want her to come back to England? Why did he get the entire concert changed just for her? Why would he go through all of that if I was just another fan? Now shut up and stop being grumpy. I’m sick of your shit.”
He rolled his eyes at me and went back to the back of the bus and did whatever he was in the middle of. That’s when I turned around to see a very confused Harry who had just gotten back on the bus when we were about to leave the venue.
“What was that about?”
“I think Liam needs some rest. He seems exhausted. Can we talk?”
“Of course we can baby.”
He took my hand and pulled me with him down on a sofa and there we sat as the bus was running through the streets of Copenhagen and we were to find the next stop on the tour but first stop was my home town where I would hopefully get the chance to introduce Harry to my mother.
