"Where have you been?"
Harry looked at me curious as I entered their dressing room backstage a little out of breath because I didn't know my way around the venue.
"I was out talking to a friend and then I got lost. What's the plan for tonight?"
"We're all really knackered so..."
Harry moved closer to me. He looked so tired, I couldn't help but feeling sorry for him.
"I was thinking we could go back to your place or you could come with me to the hotel that has been booked."
"What about the party?"
"What about it? We miss them all the time so it's no big deal."
"But I wanna go... I've never been to an after party before. I don't know what it's like."
"You've partied with me plenty of times..."
"That's different. Everybody knows you party at Funky Buddha so if they want to meet you they will be there at all the Thursday or Tuesday parties because that's when you're there. Everybody knows that..."
"What's going on Elena?"
I looked down at the ground. Should I tell them what I had done? Given my backstage pass to my friend which included my ticket to the party unless I arrived hand in hand with Harry?
"I gave one of my best friends my backstage pass so she could come meet you guys at the party. She hasn't seen you guys in ages and now that I'm around she wanna know what you guys have grown up to become. She's been to most of your European concerts and a few in America, and has always tried to meet you guys around but never really had the chance."
They all looked at me as if I had done something really wrong and honestly I knew I had because if that pass ended in the wrong hands someone could get in here. Someone who should have the access to this area at all.
At the same time there was a gentle knock on the door and a skinny beautiful girl opened the door. Hannah was one of the most beautiful girls I had ever seen but she was obsessed with the boys, but in the way that she was cool about it.
"Elena, are you in here?"
She spoke to me in a flawless English accent she had perfected through years. I saw how the boys suddenly widened their eyes and all turned to look at the girl by the door.
"I'm here darling."
I spoke in the closest thing I came to the cockney accent I wanted so badly. I loved that accent and had done for so many years so why couldn’t I perfect it when someone else, who wasn’t in England often could? I guess life was just that unfair.
Hannah entered the room and faced me as I walked up to her and hugged her tight again. She seemed a little out of herself which was strange for a girl who was so used to meeting famous people.
“Guys this is my friend Hannah. She was the girl with me the first time we all met. Her and I had travelled all the way from over here to come meet you guys on the x-factor. It was amazing and now she is finally back to meet you because you’ve somehow been avoiding each other for the past 4 years, Hannah these are the 5 foolish boys we met about four years ago. They are incredible grown-ups now.”
Niall started laughing in the couch. He was so cute when he was doing that laugh. It was that awkward I don’t know what to say because this is so not true laugh.
“Niall you’re 21 you are considered a grown-up or young adult if you prefer.”
I smirked at him before I sat down beside Harry who was fast to get his hand on my thigh to tell he was taken. I don’t know why he was so scared of that thing but he had really been all over me since we had been in London and after what happened last night.
“Hannah sit down.”
“Oh yeah of course…”
“So how did you enjoy the concert?”
Louis spoke out loud for the first time since they got off of the stage and he looked around the room and then to Hannah who was sitting across the little table from him.
“It was alright. You’ve done better to be honest. BTW about last night… what even was that?”
They all looked at each other and me.
“Liam why would you call Harry out on stage like that? Anyone who knows a little bit about what’s going on knows everything now?”
“I don’t know what happened last night to be honest. I don’t really think any of us had thought much about it and we all just had to do something.”
“Yeah but I mean the thing going on between you and Harry and how pissed you were it was easy to tell and I was in the far back of the venue. I mean, a lot of people will talk and Elena gets so much hate online for knowing you guys anyway, so why would you give her more of that?”
“Look what happened last night was a mistake…”
“Depends on which part of last night you’re talking about.”
I hadn’t really been listening and spoke out loud without even thinking about what I said.
Everyone’s eyes were on me and I couldn’t help but let out a little giggle.
I loved sitting there backstage at the venue in my home country with the only people I had ever been able to call my friends. I loved these boys and Hannah with all of my heart and I wanted for everything in the world that this beautiful moment could last forever but for me that’s not how things work and soon we would have to leave the venue and find another place to stay.
