Marriage Law: Harry and Ginny

My take on the Marriage Law :) When Harry and Ginny discover that they have been paired for the new Marriage Law, they are ecstatic. But now their task is to raise a family... how will they cope throughout their marriage, and their children?

3. Harry: The Wedding

Harry straightened his tie nervously in the mirror. Ron stood behind him, watching.

"You look fine, mate," Rom laughed.

Harry smiled nervously, glancing at the door, and then to his best friend. "I'm just a bit nervous, that's all," he confided. "It's just..."

"Just what, Harry?" George came bounding in. Harry smiled and shook his head. "Well," George continued. "I've just seen Hermione and Luna."

"What did they say?" Harry perked up, listening.

"Well, Hermione said Ginny's all set, and she looks wonderful. Luna... Luna said something about them Crumple-Horned Snorcacks. Bit dipsy, that one. I always wondered..."

"Anyway," Ron interrupted. "You ready, Harry?"

"Ready for what?" asked Harry, not listening.

"Bloody hell, mate! You're getting married, remember?" Ron exclaimed with a laugh. Harry have a start.

"What are we waiting for?" he cried and dashed out of the room. Ron and George rolled their eyes at each other, before following him.

Harry's eyes welled up with unshed tears as he watched Ginny walk up the aisle. She looked stunning in a long white gown and her beautiful red hair done up (courtesy of Hermione, who turned out quite good at that sort of thing). As Arthur let go of Ginny's arm, he sent Harry a wink and a smile.

Harry could barely hear the vicar talking; he said his vows as though in a trance, watching Ginny the whole time. Then the vicar's wand came down upon their clasped hands and a golden ribbon entwined them before disappearing. And then, Harry and Ginny shared their best kiss ever.
