"Mum, Dad?" I called. It was uncomfortable, having your head in the fire; it hurt your back.
"Gin? Is that you?" Mum knelt down.
"Is something wrong?" asked Dad as he joined her.
"No, no, nothing wrong..." I paused. "I just... I'm just checking that family dinner's still on this afternoon?"
"Of course it's on, it always is." Mum smiled at me. Dad smiled too, though he looked confused that I was asking.
"OK, that's great... that's... yeah, um, OK... I have to go... see you, Mum, Dad..." my nerves were kicking in. I pulled my head out of the fire, away from their confused faces.
"Molly, Arthur, we're here!" called Harry as he opened the door. He kept one arm round me.
"Harry, Ginny dear, come on in!" Mum bustled us inside. "I'm just making dinner - we're eating outside, there just isn't room in here anymore."
"Good thing its sunny, then!" Harry laughed. I smiled feebly. I felt slightly ill and hoped I wasn't going to be sick again.
"Go out and join everyone, I'll just be a minute with the food."
Harry and I went and got seats outside, greeting our family happily. A minute later Mum followed us with the food. As soon as I smelled it a sudden wave of nausea enveloped me; I gagged and rushed inside to the nearest loo. Harry followed and held my hair away from my face as I emptied my stomach into the toilet.
"You OK, Gin?" Harry asked.
"Yeah... yeah, I'm fine. We should go back outside and eat."
I insisted, even though I still felt slightly sick. We returned outside and took our seats in silence.
"Are you OK, Ginny?" Mum sounded concerned.
"I'm fine." I lied.
"No, you're not." George chided. "That's going to happen to you a lot over the next nine months, trust me."
"We wish you look, baby sis," Fred grinned. "Glad we're not in your shoes."
Mum paled. "You're not..."
I paused, blushing furiously, and Harry put his arm back around me, grinning.
"Oh, Ginny!" Mum sobbed, leaping from her seat and coming to embrace me. She was quickly followed by the rest of the family. Ron said in a carrying whisper: "Whats going on? Why's everyone so happy?"
Hermione hit him over the back of the head. "She's pregnant, you prat!"
That shut him up.
