I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. I hit snooze, then my mom came in.
"Alex, wake up, you're going to be late for the first day at your new school. Get ready. I'll drive you," She said. She would have given me a ride anyways, so I don't know why she keeps telling me that.
I got up, doing my normal routine which includes taking a shower, straightening my hair, putting on only a little bit of eyeliner, and brushing my teeth. Then I put my snake bite piercings in, and get dressed for the day. I walked down stairs and got some toast.
"Mom! I'm ready!" I yelled.
"Okay! Get in the car!"
I went outside and got in the car. What if people don't like me? What if I never get a girlfriend? Whatever. I should've just stayed at my old school with all of my friends. I hated moving to Wisconsin. Worst. Choice. Ever. My mom sometimes doesn't make the best choices, but oh well.
"Let's go," My mom said while getting into the car.
10 minutes later, we were at the school, and I can already tell that i'm not going to fit in here. Everybody is either preppy or nerdy. I see no emos. I wonder if it's too late to go back to Florida.
I walked in, and I already got stares. There was this one girl that caught my attention though. She was walking up to me.... WHAT DO I DO?
"Hey, I'm Marissa," She said.
"Hey, I'm Alex. Could you help me find my way to my classes?" I ask her.
"Shur, let me see your class schedule," She said, and I gave her the confusing paper.
"You have all the same classes with me, so I guess you don't need this paper anymore. You can just hang out with me, my friends, and my boyfriend," she told me. Boyfriend........ I'm not too sure I want to do that.
"Okay," I said with a sigh.
