His Weakness

Evelyn is completely in love with Louis. I suppose she would have to be to stick around so long. He's controlling, gets angry easily, but underneath all of that, he is completely in love with her too. She's his weakness. That's why Liam hates her; that's why he's always hated her. So what happens when Liam takes things too far?

~~Evelyn’s POV:
After Louis is dressed, he walks back out into the bedroom, and asks, “Ready Evie?”

I nod a little, and roll off the bed where I was lying on my stomach reading a book. He kisses my forehead, and we both walk out of the room. When we pass by Harry in the den, Louis says, “Evelyn and I are going for a drive; we’ll probably make our way over to Kegan’s at some point. Liam said that he and the other guys are probably going to go over there and hangout as well, so if you want, you should come and hangout too.”

Harry nods, and says he’ll probably see us later then. We go down to the car, and get in. Louis turns on the radio, and pulls out of the parking lot. We just drive around for a while in silence, except for the music coming from the radio. I look out the window, watching as the truck passes by stores and trees. Louis finally turns into a small strip mall and parks in front of a candy kitchen. He jogs around to open my door for me. He rests one of his hands on my lower back, which makes me flinch a bit because of the bruise from last night. Louis sighs, “What’s wrong now Evelyn? Seriously!”

I say, “N-nothing… I’m sorry, I just have a bruise from last night. It still hurts a little bit… sorry.”

Louis sighs, and wraps his arm around my shoulders, and pulls me close gently. I can smell his cologne, which is musky and not too strong. He smells like that mixed with spearmint gum and smoke. I love how he smells. He kisses the top of my head, and says, “I’m sorry babe, let’s go get some candy, okay?”

I nod a little, and we walk into the small shop together and look around for a little. Louis sees a little teddy bear holding a heart on one of the shelves, and takes it down, handing it to me with a smile on his face. I blush a little, and he says, “Now, what kind of candy for you? Let me guess, fudge?”

I giggle a little, and say, “You read my mind Lou.”

We walk up to the counter and Louis asks the woman for some peanut butter fudge, cookie dough fudge, and vanilla fudge. She puts it in little paper bags for us, and then Louis pays for those, the teddy bear, and then gets a bottle of coke as well. We leave with our candy, and then go sit in the truck and eat some of it until Louis’s phone rings, and he answers, “Yes?”

He looks frustrated with whoever he’s talking to, and after a while he hangs up and hits the steering wheel. I ask, “What’s wrong Louis? Is everything okay?”

Louis says, “Apparently no one can fucking listen and do what they’re supposed to. It doesn’t matter though. I’ll deal with it later; I get to have time for myself and my girl sometimes too. Today’s my day off anyways.”

I nod a little, and kiss his cheek lightly and say, “I’m sorry they’re bothering you.”

He shakes his head, “It’s not your fault Evie.”

I ask, “Can I do anything to make it better?”

Louis smiles, “Get over here and kiss me for real.”

I crawl over the console, and straddle his lap, my back against the steering wheel. Louis cups my face in his hands gently, before connecting our lips. At first it’s gentle, but then it becomes something more urgent and passionate. Eventually Louis has me pressed against the steering wheel, and starts to make his way down my neck, leaving kisses and love bites as he goes. He finds my sweet spot, and when he really starts to suck on it, and runs his tongue along the spot, I let out a moan and arch my back. Louis goes to move one of his hands and hold me closer, but he ends up honking the horn on accident, which startles both of us.

We both jump, and Louis accidentally bites down on my neck while I yank his hair a bit. I let out a small, startled noise, and Louis pulls back, saying sorry about biting me on accident before we both just laugh a little bit. Louis says quietly, resting his forehead on mine, “I love you.”

I smile, “I love you too.”

He picks up the teddy bear he bought me and kisses it, saying, “Just in case you need a kiss and I’m not there to give you one.”

I take the bear in my hand and say, “Thanks Lou.”

He pecks my lips, and says, “No problem, let’s get over to Kegan’s before the guys come looking, yeah?”

I nod a little, “Yeah,” and then I crawl back over to my seat and buckle my seat belt before leaning on Louis’s shoulder as he starts the truck.

He reaches over and holds my hand with his while steering with the other. I’m still a bit tired since I didn’t get much sleep last night, and close my eyes, taking a nap on the way to Kegan’s house.
