4. Coffee Shop
I arrived at the coffee shop waiting for Rosie to get here. She pulled up in a taxi. She seemed different. Her eyes, they glowed, but not as much as they used to. Her smile, still bright, but not as bright as it used to be. Her skin, still tan, but paler now. She walked in and greeted me. "So Harry, what exactly are we going to do?" she asked me. "I-I don't know. I can't quit and we have another two year contract if we decide we're still going to be a band." I sighed and she placed her hand on mine. "Harry, what are we doing this for? Why didn't we just realize we could never work?" her words sounding serious, with a hint of sadness. "What are you talking about, we're perfect, we, we are just hitting a rough patch." I pulled out a small black box. Her hand went over her mouth. "Listen, we just need to work things out. Maybe this was God's plan, to maybe have us break, but broken things fix, don't they? We are made for each other." I opened the box to reveal a necklace with and angel wing that had diamonds on the tip. I had a "devil" type wing that matched. I placed it on her neck and she smiled. Our arms wrapped around each other. Her eyes glowed again, her smile was bright again. Her skin, tanned by the light of our love.
