“Beau, where are you taking me?” I asked Beau curiously making sure my hand didn’t leave his for a split second. I took in all the scenery, even though the only things surrounding us were bushes and trees, birds chirping and singing every once in a while.
“It’s a surprise,” Beau smirked, leading the way.
“You’re not going to rape me, are you?”
“Of course not,” He chuckled.
“Are we there yet?” I nagged.
“Just one more minute walk,” He said, I let out a sigh. We must have been walking for 10 minutes. “And we’re here,” Beau breathed, walking out of the woods, pulling me with him to reveal a lake with 2 picnic benches sprawled around the grass area, flowers blooming different colours. Everything seemed so peaceful. There wasn’t a soul in sight.
“How did you find this place?” I asked in amazement, looking up at him.
“Luke, Jai and I decided to go exploring 2 years ago and we ended up here. I come here whenever I need to think.” He shrugged.
“It’s so quiet,” I breathed.
“Does anyone else know about it?”
“I don’t think so, whenever I’m here I never see anyone. I’m guessing people used to come here but not anymore.” He explained. “Look, I need to ask you something. I’ve been wanting to ask you this for a while now.” Beau inhaled.
“Yeah?” I said, so he would go on with his question. He took in a sharp breath before speaking.
“Will you be my girlfriend?” He asked nervously, his mesmerizing green eyes locking in with my ocean blue ones.
“Yeah,” I said grinning like a lunatic.
“Amelia,” I heard a faint voice call out. “Amelia,” They tried again, the voice clearer each time. My eyes fluttered open to meet a pair of emerald ones.
“Hey,” I spoke hoarsely.
“Morning,” He smiled. “What do you want for breakfast?”
“Mhmm, pancakes.” I smiled back, I haven’t had pancakes in a while.
“Okay,” He kisses my nose and hops out of bed. He went to open his mouth to say something but closed it again.
“What?” I asked.
“What?” He chuckled.
“You went to say something,” I frowned.
“Oh, don’t worry.” He said putting a top on.
“No, tell me.” I insisted.
“What were you dreaming about?” He finally came out with it.
“Uh, I don’t know.” I bit my lip. He furrowed his eyebrows. “I, I don’t know. You were in it, it seemed realistic but I” I just sighed not knowing what else to say.
“Another memory?” He asked me, sitting down next to me.
“I’m not sure,” I told him.
“Tell me what you dreamt; if I was in it then I’d be able to tell you.” He gave me a kind smile.
“Okay, well, I can’t remember much but you were taking me through some woods and there was a lake and you asked me to be yo-”
“My girlfriend,” He smiled, a grin touching his face, finishing the sentence off for me.
“So it was a memory,” I mumbled.
“Yeah,” He smiled, his eyes filled with happiness and hope. “I better start making those pancakes then,” He said getting off the bed and walking out towards the kitchen. I stretched across the bed, letting out a yawn. I decided to check my phone for the first time in 2 days.

U okay :(
I replied to the last 2 texts explaining to Daniel and Jai I was perfectly fine. I heard humming and singing coming from the kitchen, I should probably help Beau cook the pancakes, he might burn the house down.
I skipped my way into the kitchen finding Beau flipping and tossing the pancakes up in the air and stirring the mixture every now and again. “Need help?” I called out. Beau jumped causing the pancake in the pan to go flying up onto the ceiling.
“Shit,” We both mumbled staring at the pancake which was stuck on the white ceiling. We turned around to face each other and burst out laughing. After a few seconds of giggling I felt something fall on my head. Beau started laughing even more, picking up the pancake from my head and throwing it in the bin.
“Waste of a pancake,” I said sadly.
“All your fault,” Beau said shaking his head.
“How?” I gasped.
“You should have let me know you were in the room instead of making me jump.”
“I did let you know I was in the room by asking if you need help,” I smirked.
“If you say so,” He shrugged.
“I do,” I smiled, stirring the mixture.
