This whole situation felt awkward. I didn’t know what was going on and from what it seemed like nor did Tilly. The only person I could completely focus on was Beau or the blonde boy. Beau stood tense, not losing his eye contact with the boy. Let me tell you, if looks could kill the boy would be dead. I’ve never seen Beau with such hate and anger covered upon his face. The boy though, he had a smirk whipped across his face as if he was amused in a sort of way.
My hand and Beau’s were still interlocked together. He kept squeezing it tighter and tighter as each second went by. It felt as if we were all standing here for minutes on end until Jai finally spoke up. He coughed awkwardly first but eventually broke the awkward tension.
“Hey, mate. Thanks for the invite.” Jai said whilst walking up and giving the boy a manly hug. The boy returned the hug but not losing his smirk or his eye contact with Beau. What the fuck is going on?
“Beau, can we go outside quick I’m feeling a little light headed.” I whispered to him, lying. Of course I was perfectly fine; I just didn’t like the atmosphere one bit. Beau didn’t move one bit, completely ignored me. “Beau, please?” I begged. Nothing, no movement. “Beau!” I said louder this time, making sure I would capture his attention. He finally jerked his head down to me losing contact with the boy.
“Sorry, what’s up?” He pretended as if nothing was wrong.
“Can we go outside? I don’t feel well.” I lied. He hesitated, looking at me and the boy continuously back and forwards but eventually said yes. We slowly made our way out the crowded night club and out the front door.
“What’s up?” He said casually.
“I just don’t feel too good.” I kept lying.
“Shall I take you home?” Beau asked, concerned.
“No, it’s fine I-” He interrupted me.
“No, I don’t want you getting Ill. I’m going to take you home.” He argued with me. I wasn’t in the mood for an argument tonight, especially not with Beau so I just nodded my head in agreement. He grabbed my hand and took me back in the club. We soon reached the table everyone was still there chatting even the guy from earlier. I couldn’t help but notice him and Beau giving each other death stares as we arrived.
“Uh, guys, we’re off home.” I said elbowing Beau in the rib hoping he would cut it out.
“Aw, why?” Rosanna asked a bit gutted that we were leaving so early.
“I don’t feel too good.” I frowned a bit, hoping they would all believe me.
“Ah, okay, we’ll text you tomorrow morning.” Grace said, smiling.
“Yeah, alright.” I replied, grabbing my black clutch and black leather jacket. I said good bye to Georgia, Rosanna, and Grace then said bye to the rest of the boys.
“Hey, it was lovely meeting you; hopefully I’ll see you again soon?” I said hugging Tilly.
“Ditto! Now that James has introduced me to all of you hopefully I’ll be seeing you all again.” Tilly said grinning. I said good night and walked off to find Beau outside the club seeing as he decided to wait outside for me.
“Where’s my goodbye Amelia?” I heard a voice slur from behind me. I turned around to find the same boy as earlier standing there staring at me holding a bottle of beer. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion. “Ah, that’s right, you probably don’t remember me.” He said stepping closer to me. “I’m Marcus.” He introduced himself. Ah, so this is the famous Marcus?
“Nice to meet you. Look, I need to run but thanks for inviting me tonight.” I smiled at him politely before trying to head out again.
“Woah, don’t I get a proper good bye?” He seemed hurt. I hesitated but eventually gave him a hug. I went to pull away but he wouldn’t let me go.
“What are you doing?” I asked trying to pull away.
“Bad habit.” He finally let go of me but gripped hold of my waist bringing me towards him. I tried to squirm out of his grip but he was too strong. I felt his hand crawl up my thigh caressing it slowly. “Maybe we can play a few games later,” He whispered coldly in my ear, leaving a trail of kisses down my neck and on my collar bones. I tried to push him away again but I was useless. He bit down gently on my soft skin a few times nibbling on it before pushing me away with a smirk on his face.
I rushed out of the night club in a hurry. My heart was racing and it wasn’t good type. Worry filled my body. My eyes were glassy and it felt like I could erupt into tears in any second, I was shaking slightly. I couldn’t help but feel like this wasn’t the first time this happened, I felt as if I relived this before. I felt violated even by the silliest gestures. All I could think of was Beau. I needed Beau. I needed to feel safe.
