Jai started ringing as I finished applying the last bit of mascara to my long black eye lashes.
“What’s up?” I answered.
“Change of location. Tell Beau to check his phone I’ve sent him the address, the party is now being held in a night club.” Jai informed me.
“Okay, anything else we should need to know?”
“Not that I-” Jai stopped himself but soon started talking again. “Yeah, stay away from Marcus.”
“Yeah, Beau said…” I bit my lip. What’s so wrong with this boy?
“Thought he might have, see you in an hour top.” He said before hanging up, I let out a small sigh. I suddenly felt someone staring at me. I turned around to find Beau lent against the door frame.
“You look beautiful,” He complimented me, taking a few steps forward.
“You don’t look too bad yourself,” I winked. He was wearing a white shirt with a black tie, jeans and vans, typical Beau.
“Why thank you,” He grinned. “We’ll leave in 20 minutes?” He asked, I simply nodded my head.
“Oh, Jai rang; he said check your phone for the new address where it’s placed.” I told him, he let out a chuckle.
“I’ve seen it, guess Jai doesn’t trust me. What do you want to do while we wait?” I shrugged, I really had no idea. “Truths?” He suggested. Hmmm, could do so, I mean there is still loads of things I don’t know about him.
“I’ll tell you what, I’ll participate this time too as if I don’t know anything about you, what’d you say?” He was so nice, I smiled at him gratefully.
“That’ll be lovely.” I grinned.
“Name?” He started off.
“Amelia Rose Becker, you?”
“Beau Peter Brooks, favourite flavour?”
“Vanilla or coconut,”
“Chinese?” I questioned myself. He nodded to say I was correct.
“You go now,” He told me.
“First girl you fell for?”
“How old were you when you had your first kiss?”
“Nursery,” He let out a chuckle.
“Titanic and Mean Girls.”
“Cara Delevingne, Megan Fox, Stella Hudgens, and-”
“Okay, I get it, the whole female population.” I joked.
“Pretty much,” I fiddled with his fingers.
“Girlfriend?” I cocked my eyebrow. I don’t know what came over me, I just felt like I needed Beau to confirm it. He hesitated before answering.
“Yeah,” He bit down on his lip nervously. I’d be lying if I said I weren’t jealous of whoever he was dating, but that’s when it occurred to me, why haven’t I seen him with her or why hasn’t he ever mentioned her?
“Wait, I am a virgin, aren’t I?” I may have sounded stupid but I don’t care, this was vital information which I needed to know. I noticed a smile crack on Beau’s face.
“No, you aren’t.”
“Shit,” I muttered. “Wait, who did I lose it to?” Worry filled my face. I didn’t want it to be a dickhead who i would’ve lasted 2 days with or even worst, a one night stand.
“You really want to know?” He questioned me. I nodded my head frantically.
“Me,” He told me, filled with confidence. I was shocked, with Beau?
“I probably sound like such an idiot don’t I?” I pouted.
“No, these are reasonable questions. I’d be asking the same thing if I was in your position.” He tried to make everything sound better. “My turn anyway, do you like anyone?” Yes, you.
“Well, the girls have told me I have a boyfriend so I’m guessing I’m meant to like him?” I weren’t too sure myself. Beau seemed taken back.
“Wait, they said that?” He asked, making sure. I nodded my head slowly.
“Why, isn’t it true?” I asked, a little panicked.
“Oh, no, it is. What did they say was his name?” Beau seemed more intrigued.
“Bill or Billy, I can’t remember. He must be some shit boyfriend though.” Beau started grinning.
“Begins with a B,” I heard him mutter.
“What was that?” I asked him.
“Oh, nothing important. Mi, Im so close with your boyfriend and all I can tell you is that he loves you so much and wishes he could be here properly with you.” I could have sworn I heard his voice crack.
“Come on, best get going.” I tried to brighten the mood. I got off the bed, pulling Beau up with me.
As Beau pulled up in front of the night club a question kept filling my mind and it all revolved around Marcus.
Beau went to open the car door but I grabbed his arm, stopping him.
“What are you doing?” Confusion written all over his face.
“I’m not entering that club until you tell me what that Marcus boy is all about.” I told him sternly.
“It’s nothing to worry about; as long as you stick by me tonight he won’t touch you. I won’t let him. I’ll explain tomorrow, I don’t want it to ruin the night. Just trust me, please?” Beau gave my hand a light squeeze. Our faces were only inches away from each other. I just want my lips to touch his, is that too much to ask for?
“Can we go in now?” Beau chuckled awkwardly. I nodded my head before turning my head away from his. So close, Amelia.
It took everything inside of me to stop myself. If I waited any longer I would have just kissed her, but I can’t do that it might just make her recovery much worst.
“Mi, give me your hand.” I told her as we walked our way up to the club.
“Trust me,” I told her calmly. She followed my orders and placed her hand in mine. This was the only thing I was able to do to show people she was mine without her knowing. I needed her with me at all costs; I couldn’t let Marcus touch her, not again. Why are we even here? The boys or girls don’t know what happened last time; I need to make it so no-one suspects anything even if I’m willing to murder him.
