5. sleepover part II
I couldn't believe Avery just agreed to sleep in my bed with me. I meant it when I said I wasn't going to try anything. I just thought she could use extra comfort with her being upset and all (which she still hasn't told me why). Also it was a good way to get to know each other better because we could lay and talk until we fell asleep. And I don't think you really know someone until you talk to them while they are tired with no filter. I picked her suit case up from the guest bedroom and took it to my room which was directly across the hall. My walls were gray with dark hard wood flooring. I had a huge flat screen mounted on the wall with an epic set up for my Xbox. I had a king sized bed in the center of the room with a black bedding. There were random posters of a million different bands hung all over the walls. Smashing pumpkins posters, green day posters, blink 182 posters, the misfits, and a ton of others. Avery followed behind me quietly. Once I had set her stuff down she said "I'm not particularly tired actually.." And I smiled at her and said "me either". It was about 9:30 so we decided to go down to the kitchen and get some snacks and talk. When we went into the kitchen she jumped up on the counter to sit. God she was adorable. Her long legs swinging from the counter top was enough to make me weak at the knees. I popped us some popcorn and we ate and chatted for about 45 minutes before I got the guts to ask a ballsy question. "So Avery, I've kissed you on the cheek plenty..but would you be opposed to me giving you a real kiss?" I somehow managed to spit out with a little bit of confidence. She blushed a little and looked down before responding with a cheeky grin and said "me? You? Luke hemmings? Wants to kiss me? God no I'm not opposed." I smiled a sheepish smile and walked to the beautiful girl sitting on my counter before placing my hands at her hips. She grabbed my neck with one hand with the other hand on my side while I pulled her into a kiss. When our lips met I swear it was like the first breath of air after being held under water.
