10. chapter 10
Oh god. He's going to tell me I'm not good enough. He's going to tell me not to get my hopes up. He's going to say he's just doing me a favor. This endless loop of awful scenarios plays in my head like a record on repeat.
I've decided it's time I ask Avery to go on a real date with me. It seems as if we have skipped some steps. I want to date her. I really really do. And seeing two of my friends with girls that they seem to really like has opened my eyes to not caring what other people think. Cal and Ash are not the type of guys to have steady girl friends maybe a few flings but not real girlfriends. But they both told me earlier how they really liked Alex and Riley and wanted to become something real. So I confessed to them that I was seriously falling for Avery. Ash told me I should ask her to be my girlfriend but cal said he thought a date was a better idea. After I pulled Avery away from Riley and Alex and told her we needed to talk I looked into her green eyes that filled with concern. "I think we should go on a date..ya know if you're uhh up to it." I nervously spat out. "Oh luke" Avery said then chuckled "that's a relief, of course we should. When?" She said with a sweet smile. God she was beautiful. "Umm in an hour or two after these guys leave?" I said feeling anxious. "That sounds great." Avery said. I was so happy that I couldn't keep myself from grabbing her waist and kissing her.
Our lips met and moved together slowly. I let my arms graze his sides before grabbing his belt loops to pull him closer. His large hand was in the small of my back while the other moved from my waist to grab a hold of my hair. His lip ring was tickling me and god did it feel good. His warm tongue slid across my lower lip before I allowed him entrance. We were interrupted by an obnoxious Ashton coughing loudly before saying "get a room!" Luke snapped back "why don't you get out of my house then" Ashton raised his hands in defeat while the others laughed and filed upstairs and out of the house behind him.
