17. Random Shit

So, I wonder if I could fly. I tried jumping off the couch with a walmart bag as a parachute, that stuff only works in the movies.

"OWWWWWW!" I screamed. Liz came running into the room.

"What happened? Do I need to call an ambulance?" She said all at once.

"I jumped off the couch, and now I think I broke my leg." I said not looking at her.

"Don't feel bad about yourself, I did the same thing when I was around your age, it's just I broke my collar bone." She said while laughing a little.

"Okay, now can you please call an ambulance?" I said while crying a little.

"OH, SHIT. YEAH HOLD ON." She yelled and ran to get her phone and called the ambulance. It was there in like 10 minutes, not even.

~At the hospital getting cast~

"It looks like you've broken your leg before." The doctor said, while looking at my charts.

"Yeah, I was doing the same thing, too. Just off the top of a 10 foot slide at the park when I was 7." I said while looking down, I know that was a long time ago, it's just I thought that they made the grocery bags more safe now. So I decided to try it again.

"Look, if you break it one more time, you're going to need surgery. If you injure it, you will be at high risk of it. Do you understand me?" She asked. I obviously did, i'm a moron, not an idiot.

"Yeah, totally," I said while rolling my eyes.

"Don't take this lightly. If I see you one more time in here, because of the same thing, I will not help you, you will need somebody else to take care of you. I will not, and do not, put up with stupidity at this hospital." She said, and Liz just looked at her like she was going to arrest her.

"You do NOT talk to her like that! She is a minor, and should be treated with respect. I can have you turned into the police if I wanted to. I am the manager and the 'top dog' at my work, and I can, and will, put you in jail. Do you understand ME?" She asked, all mad looking.

"Yes, ma'am. I do, you may leave now. Here are your crutches and wheel chair. Call if you need anything. Goodbye Mrs.Hemmings." She said and walked away. This was an interesting day.
