3. "Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire."

Drip, drip drip.

The rain starts

Pouring down

The chalk pale

Of her cheek

Ev'ry time

One more drop

Trickles down,

The bucket

Catches it.

Her load is

Heavier

But that's not

All there is

To her chore

Crack, crack, crack.

The flames that,

Burning now,

Slowly take

All she loved.

Ev'ry day

Scalding heat

Rages through

Her thoughts and

Torches them.

Her pain feels

Worse each day

As in the

Fire she has

Lost

Her

Self.
