~a few weeks later~
"Since you guys are a bit more familiar with parenting" Mr. Wilson smiled as he sat on his desk. "I'm going to throw a challenge at you guys once a week, every Monday it resets pretty much, but you will keep points if such is awarded" he smiled.
"What are we doing this week??" Some girl in the back asked, while rocking a baby.
"Good question!" He exclaimed jumping off his desk. "We are going to play budget, you each come here and draw a paper with your week budget, some will have lots some will have little, now line up one from each group" he smiled, Luke getting up since he claimed he was the man.
"We did pretty good" he nodded.
"How much??" I asked, looking over his shoulder and shit.
"Three hundred, I am the man" he smiled, leaning back in his chair.
"Luke, can we be men with you??" Parker asked, Paxton nodded furiously.
"Well come on boys" he smiled, showing them to lean back in their chairs.
"Okay class, some of you got some cheap budgets and we took food and most the stuff in the bathroom, you can get help from another group if they wish to help or you could come to me for a job" he said as the bell rang. "Bye guys, have fun I'll have your cash sent to your house" he called after us.
"That three hundred will probably only be enough, we won't have extra money" I said, struggling to keep the sleeping girl in my arms.
"We'll see, but hey, I'll see you after school" he smiled, leaving the boys with me and taking paisley.
"I'm bored" Paxton sighed, grabbing onto my hand so I don't lose them.
"Just a little longer and we can go home" I reasoned, sitting in my next class.
"We have to go shopping, we have nothing for dinner and no toilet paper" I groaned, Paxton and I learned it the hard way... Never again.
"Okay okay" he groaned getting up from the couch. "Come on kids, get your shoes on" he called up the stairs.
"Where are we going??" They all asked, kind of sleepy.
"The store" I said, ushering them out to the car and buckling them up.
"Can we watch bedtime stories??" Paisley asked happily, me putting it on for them and getting in.
"They are going to fall asleep, most likely in the store so we need two carts" I said, looking at the side of his face. He looked pretty good today.
"Okay, I guess I'll push the heavier one" he sighed as we pulled into a parking spot. "I hate grocery shopping" he groaned as she put there sleeping kids into a cart. "Let's get this done" he muttered, going into the store. "Why did you get so much stuff" he complained as he loaded it all in the car.
"There is 5 of us and we all need to eat" I rolled my eyes and got in the car and crossed my arms.
"Emma, I'm sorry" he said to which I responded with a sigh. "Please don't give me the silent treatment" he frowned, but gave up once I don't respond. "I got everything, you can go inside" he said, once we got the last kid in the house and in their bed.
I sat on the counter, watching him put stuff away, pointing to where they go when he didn't know where to put them. I'm not really mad at him...
"I'm not mad" I blurted, him swinging around.
"You aren't?" He asked excitedly.
"Nope, I'm not" I smiled.
"Oh my god, thank you" he said relived, hugging me tightly.
"Don't get too happy about it" I laughed, pushing off of me and headed upstairs for bed. I hate him but I can't help but starting to have feelings for him.
