“Sara.” I feel a tug, “Sara!” I feel another tug, stronger though, “Wake up, you have to take the test today!”
I wasn’t sure if I wanted to take the test. What if it told me I wasn’t Armistice? I would have to leave my faction, my family. But I didn’t really have a choice, so I got up and put on a red top and yellow jeans. Then I go down to the kitchen and find my brother Caleb already in his red and yellow tie eating a bowl of trail mix.
“Caleb and Sara, I have to work late tonight so u guys will have to walk home.” My mom says, “I love you.” she kisses us on our heads and leaves.
“Sara?” Caleb says.
“Caleb, you can tell me. What’s wrong?”
He just looks at me as my dad walks in wearing his Pj’s.
“What are you guys doing here? You should be heading to school!”
I glance at the clock. It’s seven-fifty! I grab my bag pull Caleb by the arm and rush out.
