I didn't even turn around to look at the house, I walked straight out the door and towards Daniel's car as he locked up the house. There was too many bad memories there to even think about feeling sorry about leaving the house. I had only had minutes out the door and I already felt free. Like a completely different person. I wanted to be with Daniel forever and a day. And that could come true. Just to think I'd only met him a few years previously, at a concert believe it or not. Talk about every teenage girls dream. It was the year before I met Paul. Me and my sister went to a gig, it had taken me months to save up, so when I finally met them I felt happy and amazing, as well as rewarded for managing to do it. Me and Daniel instantly clicked, we even exchanged phone numbers, and this point I felt like I was melting with a hot fan girl flush.
I must have fallen asleep for the first few hours of the journey, "Wake up sleepyhead." I heard Daniel say, I looked around
"Where are we?"
"A field, the airport's over there" He said pointing to the smoky blue sky a bit further away,
"The airport? I thought you guys had the bus thing?"
"We do but we can't drive through the sea." He said adding a giggle at my stupidity. I mentally face planted myself for being so thick.
"How long was I asleep? An hour or so?"
"I was asleep for six hours?! Why didn't you wake me?"
"You were too peaceful." He smiled, flashing his teeth.
"So when are the others getting here?"
"Not for another hour at least!" He said reclining his seat, "Get comfy"
I sighed, "Why are we here so early?"
"I thought we could finish what we started.." He says winking at me. I climb into the back seat.
"Yeah? Why don't you come back here then?" And I think we all know what happens now... :)
