After breakfast me and Harry went upstairs.
"Ready Har?" I asked after changing into a tank top and running shorts and throwing my hair back into a ponytail.
"Yup. I've got the stop watch. Lets go!" We ran down the stairs and out the door before Uncle Vernon could yell at us. We walked to the park and Harry took a seat on the swings.
"On your mark. Get set. Go!" I took off running. I ran around the park up the street, turned around, ran back down the street, around the park again and stopped at where Harry was.
"How *gasp* fast?" I asked, hunched over, breathing hard and sweating.
"7min 35secs! Your fastest mile yet!" he cried, pumping the air. We high fived and I turned to sit on the swing besides him.
"Hey you gits, what are you doin?" We looked up and saw Dudley and his gang.
"Awwwwww hey Dudders, how's it goin?" I asked, using the pet name his mom calls him.
"Freak." at that I stood up
"Really original Dudders, I miss that quick thinking while I'm at school." I said sarcastically. I looked at his goons behind him, all open-mouthed and staring at my chest.
"Hey, my face is up here not down there." I said, clapping to get their attention
"Dudders, it's almost supper we better get going so your Mummy doesn't worry." Harry said mockingly.
"Yes why don't you little boys run back home to mummy for dinner." I motioned to Dudley's 'friends' to leave.
"O-okay, bye Big D." one said and they all said their goodbyes and started to leave.
When they all left Dudley looked at us.
"Freaks." he muttered under his breath.
"Now why would you call your favorite cousins freaks, Dudley?" I said, pouting.
"Don't think I haven't heard you two at night. 'Mum! Dad! Cedric!' whose Cedric? Your boyfriend?" he asked sneering.
At that Harry snapped. I mean who wouldn't, he had gotten to be friends with Cedric during the tournament. He drew his wand and pointed it at Dudley. By now we were in a dark alley way. Dudley backed up until he was pressed against the wall
"Don't you DARE talk about Mum, Dad or Cedric. They all died when they should have lived, meanwhile you're still here." Harry yelled at Dudley. The air was starting to get cold and the sky dark.
"Wh-what are you doing?" Dudley asked terrified
"I'm not doing anything." Harry said looking puzzled. The air suddenly dropped 20 degrees and it felt as though there was no happiness anywhere in the world
"H-Harry, I think it's Dementors." I said, shaking.
"But where?" he asked, his eyes wide with fright. We both turned around and there were three Dementors flying towards us
"Th-there." I shakily pointed as the they got closer.
"RUN!" Harry yelled and we both grabbed one of Dudley's arms and started to pull. But we were to slow.
They swooped down upon us.
"Expecto Patronum!" Harry and said together. A silver stag instantly came out of his but only a wisp came out of mine. I thought hard, about Harry, Fred, George, Angelina and all my other friends.
"EXPECTO PATRONUM!" I cried and a silver fox comes out of my wand and chases off one of the Dementors. Two of the three Dementors are gone and we turn to the one by Dudley.
It's attacking him and we can see it slowly sucking out his soul, it's leaning in to give him a Dementors kiss and if he succeeds Dudley will have no souls. Harry's stag and my fox come running and push the Dementors out of the way and quickly chase it off and then they disappeared.
Dudley lay on the ground, whimpering and shaking. We bent down to check on him when we heard footsteps running towards us. I raised my wand and stepped protectively in front of Harry and Dudley when I realized it was just Mrs. Figg, our batty old neighbor and Harry and I both started to stow away our wands.
"Don't put away you idiot children!" she screeched "What if there are more of them?! Oh I am going to kill Mundungus Fletcher!"
