To Die For

My mother once said. Don't let love take over your life. But she was all about the education. Don't get me started on my father; the drug addict. What a life huh? I know I should save the lesson learned from the end but, who knows if I'm gonna ever finish this book or if you even bother to read it. Love what you have now before it disappears, and respect what you know will be with you forever because some people won't ever have it. Sadly, I learned all those things the hard way.

Chapter 8

It was 5AM, Nash was by my window.

"Need something?" I asked tiredly.

"I, just wanna say, I regret leaving you, letting you walk out the cave alone. Walking home alone." He said, is he high?

My bed was next to the window, he fell right down on it. I scooted before he fell. He leaned in more to me.

"Nash what are you doing?"

"Stay with me forever." He said.

"We could be forever if you just let me--"

He leaned in closer to me.

"STOP IT NASH!" I whispered. I got up. "Please."

"I'm not doing anything."

He started taking off his shirt.

"Nash I--"

I couldn't help but stare at it. He has abs and damn.

"Come closer." He whispered. I moved in closer to him. On his lap. He moved my hair to the front of my left shoulder. Instead of kissing me on the lips, he headed for the neck.

He stopped. I looked up. Nash? He studied my neck.

"PUT THE NECKLACE BACK ON!" Nash demanded. I quickly went to my drawers and put it on again. The shirtless Nash disappeared. Boo. I stared at Nash, panicking. He looked at my bra.

"Thanks." I said.

"I only wanna protect myself, Blondie."

"Good night."

"Don't take that necklace off." He said.

"Please explain to me what was going on."

"I can't, just, keep your necklace on." He said."Promise?"
